great products, high quality clothing and accessories it is here. some people think the prices are expensive but it was not their prices that went up it was your dollar being devalued. the gentleman's suit for one piece of gold is still the same as one piece of gold from 1900. best quality shoe, steel shank, leather soles and built to last.
the sweaters are to die for. when you get tired of your less expensive over seas stuff falling apart, items bought here will not.

If you're into high-end, preppy, traditional menswear and don't mind spending a lot of money then visit the Andover Shop. Small and seemingly misplaced a block away from the rest of the Main Street shops, this store tailors for anyone with an eye for fancy clothing and especially for students at Phillips Academy (the school's official tie is made here, though not many students own one anymore).
This clothing is definitely on the expensive side and many people would say it's quite overpriced, but to the store's defense the clothing here is of higher quality than the "esteemed" mass-produced polo and suit brands.
There isn't a huge selection, the smell of the store is a bit unpleasant to some noses, and it's more expensive, but it keeps its promise as being a local and very traditional clothing store.

The Sales manager (J) seems incapable of measuring for a vest at this location. After being brutally rejected from applying to this store by the owners (TM and his father), I returned to get a vest made. Conveniently, the only try on they had was a 44 for shoulder measurement. This is one whole shoulder size up from me. The owners probed me for my client list and a tailor for their Harvard Square location. I offered them a tailor and they still haven't called her after three months . Avoid this place at all costs. Money is only green to them if you have more than 100 million in the bank.

I’ve been meaning to shop here for awhile, since J Press closed the Cambridge store. Nice store and selection, even if a bit limited. However the salesman left something to be desired. After initially helping me he ignored me, even though I was about to buy a made to measure sport coat. More interested in talking to someone about the wonders of Mohegan Island. After waiting about 15 minutes for him to come back, I walked out. I’ll drive to New Haven to shop at J Press, where they treat customers with respect.
