I live out of state and I've used Red Velvet many times in the past and have always been very happy with their product and service. I was in Fall River for a family event and decided to finally stop in and see if I could get a last minute centerpiece and WOW I'm glad I did. Karen, the owner, was an absolute delight! Not only did she whip up a gorgeous centerpiece, she also paired it with some gorgeous poinsettias. The customer service here is unmatched and the quality of the product is spectacular! I work in the events business and see hundreds of florists a year, and I would highly, highly recommend Red Velvet for social, wedding, funeral and even home needs!!

What a great business. At the very last minute (same day) I needed a wrist corsage for my son’s prom date. We completely forgot about the flowers. I tried several different florists only to understandably be told it’s too late. I tried Red Velvet and they were so nice and accommodating. I had a corsage within an hour. Red Velvet was our florist for an October wedding in Newport, RI. Karen, the owner, was wonderful to work with (completely remotely) and brought my vision to life. I wanted colorful bouquets that would match our hydrangea blue and peach theme. I selected certain specific flowers, but shared my general thoughts with Karen, and she made everything happen behind the scenes. The bouquets and arrangements were full and vibrant, and she even included a baby boutonniere for our ring bearer. We also ordered corsages for the mothers, and Karen decorated mid-sized pumpkins for the cocktail tables that were better than I could have described. Red Velvet is hands down the best florist in this area. When I first starting coming here to get flowers for mothers day/holidays/anything you would need flowers for, they have had a such a beautiful selection of flowers and decorations. So I chose them to do the floral arrangements for my wedding, which was a couple of weeks ago. I was more than happy with their work. I had bouquets and bouteneres, flowers for the cake, for the sweetheart table, flower wreaths for the centerpieces, and flowers to decorate an arbor that my brother had made. I received so many compliments on my flowers. They were the perfect colors. And Karen was such a sweetheart to work with and was more than accomodating and assured me multiple times that I could make changes or could come talk to her anytime I needed to. I would highly recommend if you need flowers for any occasion, great family run business, great people, and beautiful flowers❤

One happy Bride! When we had to move up our wedding due to a family members Diagnosis, it was crunch time to pull everything together. I didn't realize that we moved our wedding to the Thursday before Mothers day weekend and that most florist wouldn't take on a wedding or would charge a higher amount to create boutiques and boutonnieres.
Karen (the owner) was so kind and said she would be happy to make it work. I told her the type of flowers I hoped for and expressed whatever she came up with would work great. I was so AMAZED to see what she created and loved my flowers! My bridesmaids thought theirs were wonderful too. I got several compliments on how beautiful it was! I wish I had planned out a way to dry my boutique before I left for my honeymoon as I think it would look just as great as it did that day.
Would HIGHLY recommend working with Karen for a wedding or ordering flowers from her store for any occasion. Would give her a 10 star review if I could.

This floral shop, the staff and designers make the best arrangements in Fall River. The staff is attentive. The place is always presentable, as a flower shop should be. They are extremely understanding, knowledgeable, and patient. Yes, even with us guys. They helped me make the perfect arrangement for my fiancé on Valentine's Day this year. She absolutely loved it. Prior to our wedding, we met with Karen and expressed what our plans for florals were for our wedding day. When Karen showed up to deliver my wedding bouquets, they absolutely took my (and my bridesmaids) breath completely away! It was the most beautiful, full, larger than life, and lush bouquet I had ever seen! One of my bridesmaids actually thought that their bouquet was the bridal bouquet that is how gorgeous it was! But it didn’t stop there. We had a traditional Jewish ceremony and asked Karen to cover our chuppah with flowers. And WOW. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the chuppah and our event space. It was so much better than we could have ever imagined. Our friends and family could not stop commenting about how absolutely gorgeous the flowers, especially our chuppah, was! Karen and the Sweet Pea Designs and Red Velvet Florist team absolutely outdid themselves. We cannot thank you enough for bringing our venue to life with your beautiful talent!

Karen and Helen were amazing throughout the entire planning process for my wedding. They were attentive, accommodating, and put me at ease during such a highly stressful time. I can honestly say that I have had nothing but excellent service from this florist. The owner, Karen, has been wonderful and does such a great job Designing floral arrangements and funeral pieces. I order from this florist quite often and I have never been disappointed. All the recipients that I have ordered arrangements for have been very pleased. I currently continue to use this florist for my personal and business needs.

Karen is amazing to work with! She even made sure to call me about my Lillys being darker then what we wanted an instantly had the replacement for them as well. The floral for my wedding was beyond my expectations!!!

Very nice people, and very accommodating. I thought I had a dollar less than the total price, so they knocked a dollar off my bill. Super appreciative of that. And I realized I had more money on me than I originally thought, and offered to pay the original price. But the kind woman at the counter said not to worry about it... I paid her the extra dollar anyway!

The delivery driver had an errand to run and time was a factor for me since it was a last minute order, and he still promised to deliver the flowers by the time I needed, and he did! Very thankful for that. And the flowers were beautiful, and they did a wonderful job putting together this gorgeous arrangement. Absolutely would do business with them again! Lovely place!

Karen was an absolute dream to work with! She helped my vision come alive for my wedding and really knows her flowers. I described what I saw my flowers looking like and she knew what flowers to make that look come true, even when I wanted blue flowers that weren't hydrangeas, she still found ones that worked! She even helped incorporate a butterfly into my bridal bouquet in honor of my late grandmother. Karen is able to put you at ease and helps make your floral dreams come true. I would recommend Karen to any one who needed flowers for any occasion. especially a wedding! Karen is the BEST!
