Their food is very good. They are able to accommodate my food allergy as well. I am really going to miss this place when it closes. I remember eating at this restaurant with my grandmother, and my mom when I was a kid. I also ate here with my kids, my mom and stepdad. Those cinnamon rolls are the best. As my mom shines down on us from Heaven and is always with us, we are hoping to make it for one last family dinner. Magonis will be missed after all these years. Thank you.

Ordered our usual food items, and they were excellent as always. Portion size is good. Will be back again of course.

My wife and I are from the west coast and flew into town for a family funeral. Were feeling pretty depressed and worn down, saw this place from the road driving to hotel and thought right away it looked charming and venerable. We weren't wrong - food, service, and conversation with our neighboring table were all 5 star. Anyone who says prices here are expensive is insane - our bellys were bursting with delicious parm and marsala. Thank you so much for everything, hope to be back some day.

Very disappointed in the special
Sirloin and sautéed lobster

Sirloin was tasteless and tough . Lobster was not sautéed but put under a bake/broil. Lobster was too dry too eat
I don’t know what happened to the quality of their food. Just plain awful. it was 39.00 but not worth 5.
Feeling really bad to post this as magonis has been one of my favorites
I would also like to add our waitress was very pleasant efficient

Quick dinner with kids 😀 They were busy but did a great job accommodating everyone. Food was good and the prices were reasonable. Huge selection! Soup or Salad with an entrée and fresh bread. My kids were in "food" heaven.

Interesting place good food and drink, I do eat out way to often so I know what's good and not so good. I'm a one meal a day guy, I like a full meal, bread, salad, main course and at least one side. This place does that all and they do it pretty good at a reasonable price in today's pricing anyway, and they top it off with cinnamon rolls, to me that's dessert I should have given them five stars and in fact I will.
Poor service can happen anywhere, it's like running over a nail and getting a flat, it does happen but not often.

Food is amazing. Definitely the best bang for your buck - most meals come with soup/salad, bread and butter, cinnamon sticks and a dessert at the end. On top of the entree which is of generous portions - how can you go wrong? I wish more people knew about this place, because it's seems to be mostly aging baby boomers who dine here. It's great food at great prices! The whole family should come here!

Clams casino was amazing and the Bacon wrapped filet was even better

Consistently great food. The prime rib is the absolutely the best we have anywhere. The flavor is out of this world. The veal parmesan and ziti has also been consistent all for over 40 years. All for great prices and the mixed drinks are excellent too.

Expensive? Yeah, some of the dishes, maybe a bit but the portions are very generous and the fish & chips were VERY good! I would recommend eating here. We also liked the atmosphere as well. It was a little dark in there and we liked it!! We will be back to try other dishes. Thank you for a nice evening!

I love coming here! I have to say it isy favorite place. It's hard to find places that have waitresses that you can say you enjoy talking to. I ordered something that I didn't like so they let me order something else. But let me make this clear, I didn't eat half of my dinner first. I barely ate two bites.
It wasn't something that I asked for either but they made sure their customer was happy. I hope people can understand the reason why I said that is because sometimes people like to take advantage .

A varied and delicious menu for Thanksgiving. This is the first time in over 40 years that we did Thanksgiving at a restaurant. We will do it again. WOW!!

What a beautiful atmosphere. Awsome food. I had clams casino, and fried clams. There was so much I brought 50% home. And my poor bear had chicken marsala and said it was the best he has ever had. Dont let the letter U on there sign that's out. Shy you away cause you are missing a awsome place. And Peggy the waitress is awesome and always there if you need something. Very good experience..

We love this place. Always do the dinner for two, great deal. The rest of the menu is great too . Good service on top. Place needs a little updating but great food all the same.

They’ve been here for decades for a reason. The food and people are amazing! I’ve been coming here since I was kid. The salmon Caesar salad, gourmet stuffed clam, chicken parm, steak Gorgonzola and pizzas are just a few of my favorites!

Just the kind of homey comfort food we needed! I love their fish n chips. Often order it takeout. My husband got the lobster soup last night, hot, tasty and loaded with lobster! And don't leave without their signature cinnamon buns!! If ur too full take 'em home and nuke them for 30 seconds, YUMMMM!!!
