Sonia's Cakes and Sweets

Truly an amazing experience! The wonderful owner, and also amazing chef, made our visit spectacular! She was not only attentive, but genuinely happy we were there. I had a delicious sandwich then my boyfriend and I shared the chicken balls that were so fresh that the dough was almost like a marshmallow. I would definitely go back, and I recommend anyone to give it a try.

Very nice place to have a good meal. The owner is one of the chefs and is very attentive and professional. No waiting time at our arrival and we enjoyed looking the decorations here and there. Coffee is good and the desserts better so if you are in a diet you are warned. LOL. Good size portions a little bit pricey but it's worth it, everything is freshly made. We had a good experience.

Omg amazing food, great atmosphere, cozy family feeling, wonderful staff. I moved from Boston to Fall River in 1997 and always enjoyed the bakeries, diners etc. in this area that we didn't have in the city life! This venue is certainly a hidden treasure in Fall River! A must got to!!

A Hidden Gem

Truly, this place is one for the books. As you walk in the door youre greeted by their friendly staff. As being a first time customer, I made them aware and I cannot believe the amazing treatment I received. My server explained to me everything that was for sale and helped me to make my decision. I decided to go with the plate of the day and one coxinha and one quibi. These foods can only be described as a Brasilian classic.

The plate of the day consisted of rice, beans, and cut up steak in a marvelous sauce. The plate of the day also included a small salad.

The coxinha and quibi was made fresh. Most stores you go into, they have it on one of those food heater or warmers.. not this one. They cook it fresh! Everything tasted extraordinarily fresh!

They are also extremely popular for their desserts, specifically their cakes. The pictures you see of their cakes are out of this world! I am not trying a dessert today but I have no doubt that it would be anything short of amazing.

The place is super clean and organized and the ambience will remind you of Brasil. The decor is absolutely splendid!

Overall I would highly recommended this for anyone who wants a cup of coffee, desserts, and a meal!

Best place in town for a Brazilian cafe... the place is cute, cozy with lots of delicious food! They also decorate the most beautiful and delicious cakes with any given theme for your party!
