Calvary Chapel Green Valley

It is wonderful to go to a church that has such an uplifting and inspiring atmosphere. It is very warm and welcoming. The services fill up, so the ushers do a great job seating everyone. If you were to go to a service for the first time or alone, you would not feel out of place or isolated. They have a place to donate, but donations are not taken during service. There is an active childrens and teenagers Sunday School/Service, which is in a separate building, but close by. Pastor John always gives an excellent sermon. He closely follows the bible, but he gives very clear explanations and examples, He is a skillful, engaging and genuine speaker. Finally, the music is outstanding. The singers and musicians are incredibly talented. If you are considering a new spiritual home, this church is well worth a visit.

I love this church! They have strong, Biblical teaching and wonderful fellowship.

This Fellowship has a great Senior Pastor teaching the Bible. He is well versed and loves the Lord. This is a loving Body of believers. Very active with many activities going in, every day if the week!!

This place is one of the few places left preaching the gospel. It's so sad, there is hardly anywhere to attend left b/c the imposters have gotten rid of real church...sigh!

What a wonderful place to worship the Lord and get fed by His word! They follow the Bible and don’t get caught up in the world, and what they say. A really good mix of grace and truth.

I was raised catholic and when I moved to Nevada in 2017, I was lost. I could not find a Catholic Church that I felt connected to. I heard people talking about God at my neighbors Vegas Golden knights party and about a month later I asked her what church she went to and she said “Calvary chapel, Green Valley Ranch”. I went with her the next week and it was the BEST thing I ever did. This church and father John changed my life by helping me understand the Bible. As a catholic I never felt that I learned enough of the Bible, and now I do. I feel so blessed for finding this church, and so grateful for god directing me here. You should come try it out and I guarantee you will feel gods presence here! God Bless!

Great Church. Pastor reads from from the bible. Definitely believes in sharing the teaching of our lord savior Jesus Christ. Great kids ministry and awesome staff makes this a great place to worship meet people. Also great worship team.

The Apostle Jon was called the Apostle of love, Pastor Jon at CCGV is definitely the Pastor of love. He teaches straight out of the bible and NEVER takes the scriptures out of context. His message is always connect to Gods love so that we may love each other and every one else. There is no perfect church but this is pretty darn good one

The Calvalry Chapel Green Valley location is an awesome Christian Church. I love that they offer numerous classes and services throughout the week to fit anyone's schedule. Regardless of who is speaking at a given service they preach a powerful word centered directly on whatever scripture they are covering.

Their worship band is very good and does a great job of covering new Christian hits, as well as classics songs and hymns. They are a diversely talented group that delivers in whatever they are covering. They sometimes have special guests such as professional Christian recording artists come in and cover the worship sets as well.

They environment is warm and welcoming. While the median age is a bit older here than at some other churches, they still have a good mix of people. They offer age specific groups and services for church-goers as well. This location is well worth checking out if you have never been.

My grandparents have been bring me to this church since I was a small boy. After growing up and being saved by the Lord, I began attending of my own accord. If I had to use one word to describe CCGV, it would be FAMILY. As soon as I walk in the door, I feel like I am at home. The love of Christ is evident in all they do and I am so thankful for them ❤

We enjoyed this Church. I learned about Calvary Chapel from radio. 98.1 Kwave! And I would listen to The Calvary Chapel pastors on the K-wave app. Pastor John Knapp was Excellent & very Enthusiastic. His teaching was well spoken & he was in touch with today's real life situations going on for Us in today's Day! I will definitely return here! We brought the kids for their Bible themed trunk or treat, the Family had a great time.Thank you CCGV.

Great teaching - verse by verse. We love attending Calvary Chapel!

Sound teaching, verse by verse. Great worship and friendly church members. It's our second week attending and we love how friendly and loving everyone has been. They provide great ministries throughout the week for married and non married as well great children's ministrie. We look forward to growing and connecting over the next year. As of current pastor is teaching through Luke on sundays, and job on Wednesday nights, they have women bible studies on Mondays, and thursdays. Mens bible study on Thursdays and so much more. My prayer for you is that you would come and see for yourselves. May the Lord continue to guide you as you diligently seek where to serve for his kingdom.

I've been to like 5 other churches around the Valley but this one I knew was the one for me. Everyone is so nice to the Pastors to the attendees. I've been going here since 2010. Pastor John is the best Pastor then the other churches Pastors.

This is a wonderful place to worship. The congregation was very open and warm when welcoming new members. They also have a wonderful k-13 private Christian School.

Pastor Jon and all the other pastors are so good at helping, listening, and guiding. Straight from the word. Thank you for leading me back home. Bless you.

Tried 4 or 5 other places - my search ended @ CCGV (initially recommended by a friend). Great, relatable, teaching and worship, "real" (not perfect, just REAL) people, whose common denominator is Jesus Christ - but there's so much more here...I am blessed to call it "home," since August 2014.

I moved here from Ft. Lauderdale, FL where I attended Calvary Chapel, Ft. Lauderdale. I am so happy to find a church that is an extension of my home church. Everything is the same. Love it😍
