Terrible Herbst Convenience Store

I used to manage this place but quit 2 years ago. Notice all the negative reviews have been placed since then. It really takes a lot of effort to make a patron leave a good review, it takes far more effort to make a patron leave a bad review.

Very clean store and the one cashier shannon is very freindly and courteous nice place for quick in and out stop

Just a regular gas station. I filled up quite a few times when I lived in the area as it was very conveniently located.
I don't like the TVs blasting annoying ads.

2 employees have gotten things from the back because the floor isn't stocked. Tonight's couldn't be bothered to do even that.

The bathroom was gross and the pump wouldn't take my card. Sort of annoying

There is an Indian female cashier with an extremely bad attitude and snobbery!

Whoever owns this place needs to fire some employees because I have never been treated so rudely in my life! While I was filling up on gas today I grabbed a bag of trash out of my truck to throw in the garbage. The attendant immediately came out and started pacing around and yelled that I “better not have any liquids in there”. After telling him that I didn’t, he proceeded to scream at me from across the lot that I had too much trash and needed to go somewhere else. We’re talking about one small bag of trash in a garbage can that was almost completely empty. My guess is he’s too lazy to want to service the garbage cans and decided he should take it out on the customers instead. I’m sorry, but for over $5 a gallon I should be able to throw away as much trash as I want. He proceeded to pace around the lot, wildly staring at everyone who filled up. I honestly would have guessed he was some crazy person who didn’t work there if his shirt didn’t say Terrible’s on it, although I’d say Terrible describes him well.

That black cashier I don't know if it was a man or woman was ridiculous and rude on Thursday night hire new employees !!!!! no good!

The store associate that served me there on Wednesday, Sept. 1st, 2021 at around 5pm was very hostile, unprofessional and rude. While I was coming in, he was whispering to himself how tall the last customer that came out was. Then when it was my time to check out, he was very condescending and repeatedly told me I have to pay for the drink(fountain) via cash/POS. I said I know and he could proceed with the checkout. Then, after I came out, I heard him scream so loudly to the homeless man laying outside the store, everyone was looking. I mean, he could've asked politely. Homeless are still people and not trash/dirt.

I might have typed the wrong zip code when I tried to pay with credit card. Machine told me to pay inside. I went inside to pay. The female cashier asked me how much, I said to pay full tank, but I did not know how much. Then she went to ask the guy who SEEMED a supervisor how to do. This made was very inpatient with a loud voice and eyes closed to tell me “you have to tell us a amount 30$ or 40$ or whatever.”. I did not need you to tell me with that tone of voice . I told the female I would just go ahead to start over again and pay outside. The female cashier was nice, but the male was horrible with this kind of attitude. POOR...

Lights are all on but doors are locked. No closed sign. Nothing except a red car parked in front of store. Cars keep pulling up but nothing. Finally, a guy appears behind the his counter and crosses his arms in front him. I guess to say they’re closed. As I get in my car, I notice the guy comes outside to smoke a cigarette. I get outta my car thinking he’s open now and then he walks back inside and locks the door again. This company sure is living up to its namesake.

Don’t try to pay for cigarettes with ten dollars in quarters the guy is to lazy to count them and will tell customers go to smith’s and use the coinstar!

I was trying to pull out of a parking place, in front of your store, and one of your employees, a heavyset black girl with long extensions, was outside with a friend. They were talking to a friend, who’s car was blocking me from pulling out. I tried to get their attention and finally honked, just so I could pull out. Her friend came to my driver side window agressively and your employee came to my other window in a threatening way. I wasn’t going to engage with them, I kept my window up and was about to call the police- because I was blocked in. I was finally able to pull out, once their friend slowly moved her car forward- in which she was no longer blocking me.

I got a picture of the girls and will be emailing about this as well. To have an employee act like that, in your stores uniform, is beyond ridiculous. Standing out in front of the store, blocking customers who have parked, and then getting hostile and aggressive with a customer who is simply trying to just pull out.

Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

Gas pumps don't work half the time. Spilled gas all over my car when the nozzle didn't shut off. I finally gave up going there after that incident. Go to Chevron across the street and save yourself problems.

Gas stations that close at 10pm are useless. Ggas stations that buy their competition and close everyone at 10 are worse.
