Incredible.
The food was wonderful and the service was also very hospitable. I got the cheese with black truffle and it was tasty. Then the main course I got a Halibut with mussels and it was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the Blantyre to anyone who is going out for any special occasion. Absolutely worth the drive!

This temporary, pop-up version of NYC's Café Boulard is just what we need in the Capital Region...
In the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic - it reminds us of the fine dining we have been missing during the seemingly endless string of take-out meals and limited restaurant menu offerings.
While this café does have a limited prix-fixe-only menu, the options are mostly from the NYC menu. As I understand, the staff has been transplanted up to Lenox, as well.
Taken together, the food, service and ambiance are far higher than is normally expected in and around Albany, but, I suspect, lower than we would have recieved 10 months ago, at the original Café.
In any case, worth the trip, quick, before they are scheduled to close in February.
