Highly recommend!! Rachel, the receptionist, was always a friendly face walking into the office. Lori helped me with my neck pain for 6 months. She gave me great stretches/exercises to do on my own, aligned my neck twice a week, and also gave me some electrical therapy for my neck. Lori is also extremely kind and very knowledgeable! I feel insanely better after working with BCPT the past 6 months!

Thanks to Lori and accompanying therapists at BCPT, I have learned numerous stretches and have been given the knowledge that will assist me in dealing with chronic pain issues that are assumed to be life-long, due to a car accident. They truly care about the patient and provide an array of services including, but not limited to: manual manipulation, dry needling, cranio-sacral therapy, traction and e-stim. These techniques/therapies have significantly helped reduce pain in my lower back and though some days are better than others, I now have stretches and exercises to help combat the pain. I cannot thank Lori and the team of PTs at BCPT enough for their help over the years. You are highly appreciated and recommended! Thank you all!!

As a recently retired RN who worked extensively in Orthopedics & Geriatric Nrsg, I developed lower back pain with impaired mobility in 2017 & was referred to Bristol County PT by my doctor. I received exemplary care under the expertise & professionalism of JC Kovolyan, MSPT. He instructed me through an individualized & progressive series of exercises which helped me successfully strengthen the musculature in my lumbar region, and my ability to function greatly improved. I was very satisfied with the care I received & my subsequent mobility.

Fast forward to late 2019 when I developed intense back spasms with more severe limitations in mobility. I returned to BCPT, while awaiting referrals for diagnostic imaging studies. This time I was cared for by Andrew Going, MSPT. I was unable to complete many of the exercises without increased pain. Thus, Andrew developed a more conservative approach for me that included Heat Rx and traction. He employed Muscle Energy Techniques for Lumbar Type I Dysfunction which greatly diminished the pain I was experiencing.

I'm now following up at a Spine Clinic & had some spine procedures - including facet joints nerve ablation - with steadily improving results, after many diagnostic tests to solve the Rubik's Cube that is my lower lumbar region.

I'm grateful to have been treated so well by two highly competent & caring RPT's at Bristol County PT - they did everything correctly in my professional opinion. The ancillary staff is also pleasant & accommodating, and the facility is easily accessible for folks who live in The East Bay area. I recommend this business without hesitation.

I have the very good fortune to be treated for severe neck and shoulder pain at Bristol County Physical Therapy.
As a recently retired college professor who has worked with all types of people for more than forty years, I am not easily impressed; however, Andrew J. Going, my physical therapist, has earned my respect and admiration. Seldom does one come in contact with a professional of the caliber displayed by this gifted physical therapist.
Andrew designs, customizes, and delivers a unique and thorough treatment for each session. Each session is different and targeted especially to provide relief from pain and to assist me in developing techniques to further support the treatment at home. Andrew works very hard to free me from pain and thus helps me to restore my quality of life. His dedication, determination, and skill are unequaled.
I have had the opportunity to work with several physical therapists in order to overcome a limp that was a result of a hip fracture, lower back pain (lumbar spine) that resulted from osteomyelitis (from a discectomy), and back pain. There is no doubt in my mind that Andrew is by far the most skilled and dedicated physical therapist I have known. He has gone the extra mile for me from the moment he began to treat me. Not only is he a gifted professional, his gentle manner, quiet nature, and natural warmth makes the experience much more pleasant for the patient. I am forever grateful to Andrew for what he has done for me.
I would be remiss if I did not mention the other members of this outstanding team. Rachel is the public face of this physical therapy center. She is always cheerful, kind, and encouraging. There could not be a better person to do the amazing job she does. Nobody knows better than I how difficult it can be to deal with the public, yet this team goes so cheerfully, patiently, and skillfully.
The other physical therapists, JC Kovolyan and Lori DaCosta are delightful as well.
I unhesitatingly give my highest recommendation to Bristol County Physical Therapy.

This place is horrible. Dr. JC Kovolyan is a very rude man. First of all I called to see if they accepted patients without referrals and they never asked for it until all the paperwork was filled out while in the office and Dr. Kovolyan was in the corner shaking his head the whole time. The receptionist tried to help by offering to have an exam first but Dr. Kovolyan refused stating must go upstairs FIRST, which wouldn’t matter at all. He doesn’t care about patients health and I’m not sure why he’s even in this field. I think it’s time for him to find a new profession. Oh and he never even introduced himself, how professional. Am I right? 0 stars
