Excellent experience with Kirby's products and their family members. Very dedicated to preserve family-oriented business values. I purchased their Copper Bottom Paint (Black) & Green Tint Topside Paint and the results were amazing. I got the paint on early April 2020 and by July 1st, 2020, my West Wight Potter 15 "Carmelita" was all ready for more adventures.

Drove 98 miles and was not disappointed. Great little shop and was helped expertly.
Boat paint costs what it costs. Here you pay for great paint and you get to support a historic family business in a really interesting old store with personalized service. Make the trek and have the experience. You are going to pay a lot of money to paint your boat regardless, you should buy at Kirby's and make it worth it.

Started using Kirby paints about 15 years ago (Hull and Deck gloss white) on the old, beat up wooden windowsills and interior window frames on my house. Hands down the best paint I've ever used. Previously couldn't find a paint to reliably seal over layers of wood filler etc. Even the windows in the bathrooms still look GREAT after 10 years.

George not only mixed a special color of topside paint for us he was available for any questions we had about application. Best paint around for porches and exterior wood components. I'm a GC and have been using Kirby paint for about 5 years now, and there's nothing like it. When I drive past a home we've painted it looks brand new 4-5 years later.
