America's Food Basket

We usually stop in to pick up stuffed grape leaves, couscous salad, and feta cheese. The feta wasn't out so a very helpful employee offered to go in the back and get some while we continued to shop. Gave us the opportunity to really look around and compare prices to where I normally shop. There was a great deal on chicken leg quarters and ground beef plus many produce items not available at our regular grocery store. Decided we really need to start doing our regular grocery shopping here.

This is by far the best market I've ever been to. Every thing is so fresh, the meat and produce are amazing. Awesome variety of hard to find foods. The store is amazingly clean and neat, and the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. And somehow, the prices are still very low! My new go to store! Love it, please check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I didn't notice 'America's' on sign. I thought it was Almeida's Food/Market Basket. In any case, I was glad to finally check it out. It was clean, products were well placed, meats and produce fresh and reasonably priced. Just about anything you need grocery-wise can be found here. Old-time atmosphere where they'll cut your meats and cheeses to order. I introduced myself to the owner and employees to congratulate them and wish them luck. I promised to return often and spread the word of this little gem. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Good variety of international stuff. Super clean and very nice staff. Definitely recommend you to stop by.

This market is a total gem.
Chicken Cesar pasta salad is just OUTSTANDING. As is this assorted bean salad I'm enjoying right now.

Love this place. Been coming her for almost 20 years now and the food is fantastic. Great wraps, baguettes, baklava and traditional Lebanese food. So grateful that this place is in my way home. Easy stop for last minute dinner also.

Under new management i have seen this place get more organized. They have delicious sandwiches and wraps for a decent price for lunch. They carry several items from Greece and other Mediterranean countries. I am overall happy with their staff and how well stocked and organized it usually is .

I love this little market. The produce is some of the best I've seen and the assortment of herbs and spices is amazing. Everything is reasonably priced and there is nothing better than supporting a local small business.

They have plenty of middle eastern stuff, baklavas and similar, very tasty ones. And the prices are affordable.

Super friendly staff! Very helpful with finding what you are looking for. They assisted me as well as I came in with a broken wrist and one of my arms in a splint. Oh yes! And the food is delicious! Traditional and homemade X maid! Also has an assortment of Ken of canned and packaged goods that you wouldn't find in the regular grocery store.

I love this little store...I picked up a few items for my salad...it is good for the days you don't want to run into a big supermarket.

Clear, always well stocked. Variety is awesome. Prices are moderate. Never have a problem there. Used to visit the market when I worked in Fall River back around 2011 for lunch. My wife and I have returned a couple of years ago and really appreciate there service. From New Bedford

This place is amazing. Great for vegans who want good prepare food. They have falafel and more. Lots of prepare Lebanese dips, sauces, hummus and so much more. My favorite store by far! Give it a try.

For me this is a quick and easy place to buy lunch or ingredients on the way home. They have a deli/bakery that sells fresh bread, meats, cheese, and hot or cold prepared food. My favorites are the small pies( they come in meat and vegetarian options) and their baguettes. They carry uncommon ingredients so I check there if it's something regular grocery stores might not carry. Service is always friendly and quick!

The best wrap place in Fall River, possibly the state. Do yourself a favor and go to Daou, then go to the back right corner and get yourself a wrap. The ingredients are super fresh and the chicken is grilled earlier in the day. It makes you sweat garlic after, but in a good way.

Just had a scrumptious lunch...steak stips with marinated vegetables and mozarella tomato pesto salad. With a bit of a French baguette on the side. Fresh and delicious!

This is a really nice smaller market that specializes in Lebanese Meat pies. Very clean store and it is located next to Jay's Wine and Spirits in the North End on President Ave. They have nice products (Shur-Fine) and a very good produce area.

All great but the cashier was clearly somewhere else. Selection of goods is adequate for such a small location and the deli is amazing. Get a spinach or meat pie, they're cheep and delicious. This place is small marvel and a cultural staple in an otherwise bleak and neurotic city.

Great prices, great selection, HELPFUL staff.....my new favorite store. PS great hit hoot and subs when cooking is not what you want to do.
