BEWARE!
If I could give Alexandra Glover zero stars I would. My brother and I were referred to Alexandra for a legal issue we had on real estate property. After a couple messages and emails over months time, we never received a response from her, so we gave up. To my surprise, she called out of the blue after months of no response, but unfortunately I did not know she was going to call so I was not prepared with the information in front of me or the questions I had for a consultation. So I called back with a couple of questions. She returned my call (while she was driving to an appointment) and I conferenced my brother in on the call so he could hear her responses and we could decide on our options to move forward and the retainer she would require.
Imagine my surprise when I received a bill from her for almost $200! She charged us by the minute for her call even though she never set an appointment with us, we never signed anything with her and we never met or saw her in person, nor were we ever informed that she would be charging us by the minute for the call.
Attorneys with greedy unethical practices like this is what give lawyers a bad name! When I sent her a letter with a copy of her bill stating the above and requesting she rescind the charge, she refused and also told us to find another law firm. I told her we were willing to pay fair and reasonable fees for work done and time spent but this charge did not meet that criteria, but she said she didn’t agree. All I can say is DON’T USE HER! You will regret it!
