The Freshest and Best Experience! Always My First Stop When I Come To Mass even if New Bedford is not on my list! I Order The Fresh Fried Scallops and Shrimp Po’Boy! Always hits the spot! They have alcoholic beverages available as well! Quick fast good service! Friendly staff!

Very nice place right in the New Bedford harbor. Self service, low key, nice ambience. The lobster roll with fries was pretty good. Yes, it's expensive but nobody said lobster is cheap. Tip: Try their house-made lemonade, with lavender if that's available.

Awesome seafood shack, one of the best butter lobster roll in Massachusetts. Scallop basket was nice too. Good drink options. Nicely located next to fish boats. I love the settings.

Had a pick up next door as a truck driver...walked over got lobster roll and clam chowder with lavender lemonade to try. Lobster roll was great! But the clam chowder...mind blowing! If you dont know how lavender lemonade tastes.. like I didnt know..it tastes just how it smells! Deliciously weird! Try it! Def recommend the place worth the price! They also have some yummy drinks and coctails :)

Delicious seafood at a nice waterfront location. Great customer service and very clean. We ordered the scallop basket and the fish and chips and both were excellent. The Whale's Tail is beyond what you would expect from your typical clam bar. We will definitely go back and try something else on the menu.

We ended up eating here after trying to get table to no avail at The Black Whale. Food was super fresh - made my fish & chips right there. Staff wiped off each picnic table. We're glad we ended up there.

The service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. Just a little place on the New Bedford Waterfront and it's perfect.
We had the Crunchy Shrimp Basket (with Boom Boom Sauce), and a Lobster Roll in Brown Butter. Sooooo good. Both come with fries and the Shrimp Basket comes with cole slaw.
2 Lemonades later (we were on the Harley) and we were set.
They actually serve Margaritas on a limited drink menu.
This is a must try if you are near the waterfront.

This clam bar is a must-try when you come to New Bedford, MA. Some of the best seafood in New England with generous portions and a chill ambiance. Get yourself the fisherman’s platter and you won’t be disappointed nor hungry.

Really good seafood. I got the fried shrimp with fries and it was so good I almost ordered another one but I was so full. The meal comes with a lot of good as well. For the price it is worth it.

The best seafood restaurant! It was a fine dining experience! All food here is carefully/precisely prepared. I ordered fried calamari and fish & chips (with special sauce). The atmosphere was relaxing. The service makes everything x10 better! If you want an excellent fine dining experience, this place is for you. This place is a must in New Bedford, MA.

Charming little seafood shack in a nice waterfront location. The seafood is fresh and portions are satisfying. The service is friendly and quick. It also serves alcohol. You order from the take-out window and then sit at a picnic table right in front of the shack. The decor and ambiance is quite nice. The butter lobster roll was tasty and worth a try. No frills but big on taste. The fish and chips were good as well as the shrimp basket. The fries were not unique but still tasty. Great place to eat casually without sacrificing taste!

Simple counter service by the working waterfront. Great food and atmosphere.

Cute place. Best time to visit - golden hour(during sunset).

Must try - clam chowder, chicken fingers with Cole slaw :)

The staff very friendly and the cook 👍🏽👍🏽pretty great. I love my food, I got a scallop plate with 🍟 and 🍺. We will be coming back!!

Lovely new spot right by the port. We got the seafood platter, hot dog, and lobster rolls. Everything was wonderful. They offer a hot lobster roll and a cold one. We got the hot one and it was heavily seasoned with butter, not the traditional mayo, but it was great. Plenty of seating, nice atmosphere, good drink selection, can’t wait to go back!
