Tried it for the 1st time, and I'm so glad that we did. New favorite restaurant as the service is amazing. Nice gem of a find and will be going back. It's no wonder they are always busy. You are definitely going to enjoy the food.

Wonderful. Parking is difficult but worth the aggravation. The servers were so warm and friendly. I had felt a little uneasy in the tight congested neighborhood but they out me at ease and made me feel so welcome. The shrimp Mozambique is life changing and far better than Antonio's nearby. Antonio's is also charming and good but for shrimp Mozambique I give Alianca the crown. I also had an Azorean steak that cut like butter and melted in the mouth. The pumpkin cheesecake was a great cap to my meal. If I was driving past New Bedford, I would make a special detour to go here again.

Another of those places that fool you on the outside but known to the locals. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Decided to eat on the bar side, and the clients were super friendly. Daily specials follow the a portuguese food tradition, with a twist.

The food was excellent. The server tended to focus on other customers and we didn't even get the slate with wine list so we drank water. I had planned on getting wine but seems like she didn't care for us as customers. The stuffed fish was excellent but would have been better with wine. It was my first experience there since I just moved to New Bedford.

This little restaurant is a hidden gem if you like Portuguese food! Homey European Cafe style dining and a lounge area. I suggest reservations for Fridays and weekends. Daily specials are awesome and the prices are very reasonable. They also have my favorite dessert.. Passion Fruit Mousse. Soooo good!

Great place super awsome staff if u want a great portugess experience look no further! Passion fruit cheese cake is a must dessert!

Food is always great. Wonderful waiters and waitresses great specials.

Love this place! Went last night for dinner everything was delicious! I also went today for the lunch special which was so cheap and so very tasty! The owner is always there making sure everything is running smooth and always so very pleasant! Great place always for Portuguese cuisine!

Calamari special was most delicious - topped with ground chourico, and that sauce that was served on the side - sooo good!!

Excellent food service and prices.

This particular visit, was less than I was used to. The service was less than satisfactory this particular evening, a Wednesday evening. The usual ladies weren't there.

Love love love how the owner comes out everytime we are there to make sure all guest are satisfied.

Great food with excellent service, the owner came to our table to check on us. The servers were attentive. Portions are large, and steaks are mouth-watering. You can't beat the prices. I will go back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants authentic Portuguese food. Oh, by the way, don't forget to order Portuguese soup. Thank me later :).

Placed a large order of food for a family event and it was ready for pick up when promised. All the food was outstanding and still hot when served. I will definitely use Allianca for future events as well as dining in the restaurant.
