I visited this bar/restaurant last night. I selected to sit outside in one of their heated igloos, which was cutely decorated 🥰 For food, I ordered the spicy Deviled Eggs, Salt & Vinegar Fries, & Garlic Parmesan Wings. For drinks, I got the Violet Royale & Love & Fear cocktails. Everything tasted amazing & the service was awesome ❤

This place is such a vibe! Great cocktails, and the food was high quality too. Not a large menu but everything is very flavorful and fairly priced. A cozy, vibey, cocktail bar @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

Cozy atmosphere. Love the fries and chicken wings with mango Buffalo sauce. Awesome cocktails. Great service.

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of this place. It was bought by new owners and we were admittedly hesitant. However, we were blown away by our first night back. The drinks were strong, but unique and delicious- just how we remembered them to be. The food however, was insanely delicious! We shared the Shrimp Cocktail which was fresh, zesty, and flavorful. Completely upscaled to your typical cocktail sauce. He had the Tuna Burger which he loved and was just as fresh, flavorful, and memorable. I ordered the Edamame Dumplings as an entree, which was the perfect amount of food for me. Vegetarians, rejoice! The edamame was so meat-like and had substance and flavor without being mushy. Overall, we’re sorry we ever doubted you, Cult! We’ll be back again, and again, and again.

Love it here. I think this is the best burger in New Bedford. The chicken sandwich, fries and buffalo chicken dip are also great!

Cultivator Shoals is by far the best bar experience in all of Downtown New Bedford. Wonderful atmosphere indoors as well as outdoors! The food is always a hit and the drinks are amazing! The staff is all absolutely wonderful, friendly and attentive!
I would recommend this bar to anyone who is traveling to New Bedford and looking for a nice, classy, bar experience!

The drinks are top notch. The food is so delicious. There is not a typical dining room. The seating is basically only bartop style. Come here and have a couple cocktails and share a few plates. You won't regret it.

Fabulous proper cocktails.

Top notch staff. I have had Avery, Sam, Mike, and Bella at the bar. All very knowledgeable and make my experience enjoyable every visit. Best cocktail bar in the area. Ask the staff about any bottle on the wall and they will give you a lesson. Ask Avery for her award winning cocktail or any of the staff to create something for you and they will make sure your experience is special.

Love this historical bar in downtown New Bedford. They have delicious appetizers, well made drinks and a good variety of craft beers. Check out the amazing art and portraits of local historical figures too.

I frequent this bar often and a review is long overdue. The staff is great and real, which I knew, but tonight one of the staff members really helped my friend and I out. My friend and I (two women) were approached by a man who made us seriously uncomfortable and would not leave us alone, even when asked. Aliah stepped in and helped us. Putting her foot down and telling the man to leave us alone. Not only has she always been a great bartender to us, but she is also one to be trusted. I will continue to be a customer of this bar.

Stopped in for a drink and appetizer. Hadn’t been here foe about a year. The place has been completely renovated and looks great. Waitstaff was super friendly and accommodating. Gave us some really good recommendations for drinks. Atmosphere is authentic New Bedford. Definitely worth the experience! We’ll be coming back soon.

Wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Cozy decor that plays on the history of the area is wonderfully done. Truly a small gem in the area. The cocktails are top notch and the food absolutely cannot be underestimated.

Brought my mother there for Mother's Day lunch and had zero hesitation going back that evening for a second round with a roommate, already looking forward to my next trip in. Keep killing it, folks.

Probably the best fries I have ever had, especially with their dip. It looked mustard based (and i dont like mustard) but it was absolutely fantastic! The bartenders were making a lot of good looking cocktails and it's a nice atmosphere. I recommend! Come for a drink and the fries!

Got there little after 5 place just opened and a little chilly inside but soon warmed up.
Great interesting atmosphere and paintings. Very low lighting makes for a cozy atmosphere, tough to read the small menue though.
The menu was amazing with small plate appetizers.

Uhh. If you go there and don't try the deviled eggs, you might as well just never try anything good. They are, without exaggeration, better than your mom's. Chicken wings are super spicy and delicious too. Not bad with a drink or two.

Been here twice and both times have been great. The first time was just for drinks. The bartender made me one of the best old fashioneds ive ever had. Second visit included food and was absolutely excellent. Nice dishes to pick thru while enjoying some awesome beer. The staff is friendly and on point the whole time you are there. I will be back again and again!

This place is small and unassuming and we went on a night where hardly anyone was there but it was still great. The drinks were very fun and unique and used a lot of the newest coolest stuff that you'd find in a trendy place in a big city. The locals seemed to like it as well and the bartender was very nice and wore a hat like Herman Melville.

Such a classy and unique place! Amazing cocktails with a great performance to watch them be made in front of you. Our bartender Conner was awesome with a great sense of humor. Will definitely be returning soon!
