Fathoms Waterfront Bar & Grille

First time here, nice place on the water. We choose to sit outside. Very comfortable, nice drink menu, very good bloody mary, i had the Peachcomber sangria, delicious! Just appetizers today for what i thought was going to be a light lunch, but the apps where huge. Unfortunately forgot to bring the leftovers home 😞. Hubby says the Lobster Bisque was okay, thicker then he prefers and did not have enough sherry but he still finished it! He also had the clam and scallop fritters, says they were pretty good, he was disappointed that he could not get a shrimp cocktail, they said because shrimp is now out of season. I had chicken tender appetizer with really good sweet asian chili sauce, tenders were nicely fried, also had the potatoe skins, they were good but the potato was not scooped out like it typically is. All and all it was enjoyable and we would go back.

I loved this place. The oysters are the best oysters I have ever had, both the texture and taste were wonderful. The lobster mac is also really tasty.

Always make a point to eat here when I'm in town. Asian bone-in chicken wings, scallops wrapped in bacon and the Raw Bar. Had the signature rum punch drink and it was delicious. Our server Isaac was wonderful! Looking forward to the next time already

Right on the water, just a beautiful day. Had the Scallops wrapped in Bacon appetizer....delicious. And baked stuffed sole with seafood stuffing. Life is good!!

Honey baked scallops steak tips and Chicken Marsala. This is one of our favorite places. Always recommend

Celebrated my mom’s 86th Birthday here and absolutely loved every bite. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing as well as the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Ashley did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and made the recommendations for the scallops! Instant credibility. 😎

If you're traveling to New Bedford, Ma. stop by the waterfront restaurant. Their Clam Chowder is delicious and so is just about everything they serve. Quahogs are yummilicious! Mud Slides are to return for and when boats pass by, you can watch the drawbridge open and close. Staff is friendly too. The bar is distinguished by being a designer acrylic sea scene.

I am in town for work so I am in no way familiar with the area but, quiet spot with some of the best scallops and prime rib I've had. Service was quick and by comparison to other areas of the country the prices are great too for this economy.

The food was really good, including the drinks! The Washing Apple Martini was bomb. They sell diet pepsi, though, and not diet coke. Boooo

Things that I have had that are really good and their steak tips, shrimp, scallops, fish and chips, fish sandwich, and lobster bisque. I will say this recent trip the lobster bisque wasn't as good. It was very think and didn't seem to be any chunks of lobster. Not sure if that was expected

I love this place from the atmosphere to the cuisine it's amazing. You can sit outside and have a beautiful view on the water. The food is amazingly good my favorite is the lobster grilled cheese

we were having our monthly family day. we didn't really have anywhere to go, or anything to do. so we started googling around looking for for things to do and places to go/eat etc. Fathoms Bar & Grille came up, we voted . so Fathoms it is. every plate of food was cooked to perfection. the drinks were perfectly blended, a good strong, but not over bearing drink. beautiful dining on the water, inside and outside. and most importantly, the service. service with a smile, very pleasant courteous, prompt. nothing wrong. and I speak for my entire family, because we all agree. I (we) give Fathoms 5 stars. but adding my own stars, I give a 10. shout out to Trish K. Grace and Liz 😊 thank you for a wonderful family day!! oh yeah, then at the end they brought out special BIRTHDAY treats and congrats treats for mom and my son!!

Stopped here on our way from Providence Airport to Cape Cod. Very convenient location just off the freeway with a cute deck on the water.
I ordered the Lobster grilled cheese on sour dough. It was AH MAZE ING!!! I ate the whole thing because I couldn't stop it was so good.

Staff was great. Scallop appetizer was awesome and baked scod was perfect. Really fair prices as well.

Uniting with a number of family members and Fathoms was able to find us a table to linger and enjoy fabulous food, great service.

The food was absolutely amazingly delicious! And our server was super attentive!

love love love this place it dont matter if its a friday night or if your just stick on the bridge and pop into fathoms is always a hit and they havent missed

I tried the fried scallops, which were sweet and perfectly cooked. The clam chowder soup was delightfully thick, brimming with clams, creamy, and bursting with flavor. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially considering the evident local patronage.

My wife and I had an excellent lunch on the deck overlooking the harbor. The calamari was cooked perfectly, lightly breaded and tender. My fish and chips were great, lightly breaded and fresh. My wife really liked her fried scrod and scallops.

I’ve been to Fathoms for many occasions and I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is great and food is always delicious. Keep up the good work!

Like always, the food is fresh and great service. The Crab & Artichoke Dip delicious.
