Best Mexican food I've ever had friendly people and great atmosphere.Highly recommended to go sit down and relax and have a good meal..

Having grown up in the southwest, It's always a sweet relief to find authentic Mexican food up here. I had the chicken enchiladas and flautas appitizer along with a chicken chinichanga to go cause I don't make it down here often enough from Adams.

Pancho’s may not be the only place to find Mexican cuisine in Pittsfield, but it is the only to have consistently provided high quality food and service throughout my life (27 y/o). There is no place I would recommend more & highly encourage all to stop in - a choice you will not regret!

¡Espectacular! Panchos is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Their mole sauce is dark and rich and smoky, the tamal and relleno are delicious, the empanadas just right, and they make a mean house margarita. Don't miss the mural behind the bar. This is a great place for families or bring a crowd and have a party.

The exact right kind of authentic Mexican - the kitchen. Decor really caters to the eye and enhances the dining experience, very kind staff. Affordable

Honestly the best restaurant I've been to in Pittsfield. The people who work here are so nice every time I visit. Great atmosphere and always great food (and good portions too!). Worth the money, which nowadays is difficult to find.

I had the best Taco Salad, and the dessert? Fried Iced Cream was the most mouth watering experience!

We came as a big party at a busy time. The staff made sure were seated as quick as possible. The pitcher or margarita was awesome! I didn't like the dinner I ordered and the waitress had no problem taking it back and made a suggestion of something else and I loved it. Excellent home made salsa. Fast service. Wish they had fresh guacamole.

As I write this, I am eating warmed-up leftovers and they're as good as when I ate their food fresh from the oven. While visiting Texas and asking locals for the best Mexican food restaurant, I was given this advice; "If you see a 'hole-in-the-wall' looking place that's been in business for a long time, THAT is the place you want to eat at because the food is so good, people do not care what the place looks like."

Panchos is no hole-in-the-wall place, but one has to admit that it's not as slick and new as the other Mexican restaurant just a minute or two away. I'll be honest, I had forgotten the advice I'd been given. I tried the other restaurant several times since the pandemic began and each time I was given bland, spiceless food prepared with no passion or heritage. Then I drove past Panchos several times wanting Mexican food but just not sure if I wanted to take the chance of a "non-slick" Pittsfield North Street restaurant. I even poked my head in once and saw empty tables and walked back out.

I was so mistaken! And I apologize to Panchos for judging. I ordered Pescado a la Veracruzana (Fish fillet with sauteed vegetables) and a Chicken Chimichanga. I also requested a non-menu item - french fries but prepared like nachos; essentially nachos with fries instead of nacho chips.)

That special order was so good! The french fries are made of real potatoes and cooked with spices (unlike so many other places). Those, alone, would've been really good. Add all the toppings and I was loving life. The flavors blended perfectly.

My wife and stepson REALLY enjoyed the chicken chimichanga. They loved the spices and the little bit of zing that came along with every bite.

I think the fish fillet was tilapia, but it was a little thicker than most tilapia so I'm not 100% sure. Either way, the fish and vegetables were prepared with just enough seasoning to have a little bite, but more importantly for me, full of flavor that stayed with me while I chewed and long after I swallowed. I was able to take my time and really enjoy the spices and flavors.

The real test for me (I travel a lot and eat Mexican almost everywhere I visit) is the rice. Too many places (including that place nearby) have bland, almost tasteless rice as though they cooked whatever was in the box/bag and added no other spices. At Panchos, BOTH the rice and refried beans were prepared by a chef that seems to actually care to add a little heritage to their food. I usually end up having to mix the rice and beans with the other food to get the flavors I'm seeking, but not here. I enjoyed them on their own and for that alone, my highest compliments to the chef.

I am so happy I found a Mexican restaurant that actually cares about the food. Don't be like I was at first regarding its location and how many hipsters appear to not be dining (in comparison). Panchos is the real deal.

Not a super fancy place on the inside, but we had excellent service and excellent food there. A fine place to go with your kids. My daughter had a quesadilla that had a nicely marinated or seasoned chicken in it. I had a sampler platter, all the food was fresh, appropriately spicy, and not over-saturated with cheese. My wife had an incredibly good margarita here. We felt the pricing was inexpensive for everything.

This is the best Mexican food I’ve had since leaving Texas 30 years ago. My wife and I drove from Grafton so I could bring her here to eat. Eric served us and made us some great margaritas. My wife agrees that it was worth the trip.

Been craving Mexican food and Panchos looked good. Stopped in a little early for dinner on a Saturday so it wasn't too crowded. My server was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious and not overwhelming like some other restaurants. I had The Big Pancho. A tamal (tamale), mole enchilada and chili relleno plus the ubiquitous rice and beans. Fabulous! Very authentic Mexican tastes. Not the traditional Americanized versions. Finished with an order of flan that was very good. The only drawback is that the refills on tea aren't free but overall a wonderful experience.

This is as close to authentic Tex-Mex in the Berkshires as I’ve had since we moved here many years ago. Fresh, very tasty food, including an excellent flan for dessert. Very reasonable prices. Free parking on the street after 4pm. We’ll be back.

Have love Pancho's since they opened years ago. Great tasting foods, Nothing from a box here. Fresh to order meals. I will always start with the guacamole, it's so good. Our meals were right out. May have been because we were there at 5:30, but I don't remember ever a long wait. Covid 19 protocol still being followed. Simply authentic food. You can choice fancy restaurants or Great Fresh Food your choice, I know mine is Pancho's.

We like Poncho's.. I've been here about ten times in the last six years. I've only come for lunch don't ever remember leaving disappointed. I like the atmosphere and the art work is pretty cool. The waitress was a little distracted with her phone but other than that it's a nice place for a bite.

Server was great and on top of everything! Dishes were hot, fresh and delicious! Definitely try the fajitas and mole enchiladas! Best dinner so far in Lenox on a 4 day stay. Thank you!

Our experience starting with appetizers, and entrée was delicious. The food was flavorful, and esthetically pleasing. The service was good, not too rushed in a relaxed ambience.

Always a great meal and excellent service.
I had the chorizo fajita; the chorizo had nice char, and the peppers and onions were perfectly cooked,. Not soggy. I order mojitos here when dine in service is allowed (before Covid19) and they are super.
This time I wanted a mojito to go and the staff was glad to make it, but she informed me the mint was not fresh and advised against it. I guess they don't get too many pandemic drink orders...... Hopefully dine in service resumes soon so I can again enjoy the great drinks!
