Today I was that crazy lady tracking down the post man to get my package I needed before heading out of town. I called the post office to see if they received my package which they confirmed. The gentleman on the phone asked if I needed it by a certain time which I told him NOW. I asked where I could find the postman and gave me exact location. The postman when I found him knew exactly who I was and giggled when let out the loudest sigh of relief. I'm very happy with how helpful they were even if it seemed silly to them over shoes.

I've always had great experiences at this location, and I ship packages 3-4 times per week. Steve goes above and beyond and is always friendly. Ron also always has a smile. No complaints here....

These carriers and clerks don't have it easy, cannot deliver mail with no name on the mailbox for one, and are accountable for every piece they bring out, also will not leave a package at a unsafe location, understand these issues, people think they play games with the mail, they do not, its all for the safe delivery of mail and parcels to the customer. Please give them a break. Also, the US Post office does not take a penny of taxpayers money, the only agency that does not. Totally self sufficient.

Went in at 8:20 this morning, the woman greets me, then immediately closes the cage around the front desk? If you’re not prepared to be open by a certain time change your hours? Then I came back this afternoon. The big girl behind the counter is cocky and condescending when dealing with customers, the attitude isn’t necessary. Everyone else I’ve interacted with is nice though.

Where is the integrity when delivering packages . Tracked as delivered “ hand delivered to resident “ .. but Just 8 minutes earlier the tracking stated carrier occurred a delay. And no one was home all day . Who was this handed too .. seriously the lies are just too numerous. I’d rather see delay in delivery, than lying and stating it was hand delivered to a resident that did not occur

I don't know who worked there today 12/05/17 but whoever answered the phone gave an absolute ignorant attitude from the moment he answered the phone. Cocky. YELLING AT ME. Just absolutely unprofessional. Glad it was over the phone because if I were there in person I would've gotten his manager to set that little a-hole straight. Their service has been awful our whole time living here.

UPDATE: March 9th, 2018
Package that was "out for delivery" today has not arrived. USPS said "Must have been missed. You should receive it Monday". SHOULD receive it Monday? I should've received it today, Saturday... We'll see if/when this arrives. Yet they delivered the regular mail? How do you deliver PART of the mail and not all? This is the FIFTH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IN ONE YEAR! The entire branch needs to be fired and they need to hire people who aren't alcoholics or cocky children.

Worst experience ever dealing with a post office. These people never give mail on time! I tried to hold my mail n pick it up they still haven't given it to me. Through my tracking # it says they have had it since Tuesday 10-11-16. It is now Thursday10-13-16. N they still haven't given it to me. Isn't my taxes paying there pay checks? I want to file a complaint as high up as i can go.how can u do that any suggestions?????? And apparently u am not the only one with issues with Somerset post office.

Called with a question. The person who answerd the phone was rude from the start. Before I even asked anything he kept cutting me off saying 'what is your question' Raised his voice at me and gave me a huge attitude for absolutely no reason while I was explaining the problem I was having . Kept cutting me off while I was talking to continue to raise his voice at me and give me a hard time. I told him I didn't appreciate the attitude he kept yelling what is your address what is your address I had to tell him forget it. If I acted like this at work if be fired. Got absolutely nothing accomplished. He needs to look into a different profession for sure. What a joke.

Ive had to go in a few times since i have moved, usually the employs have been nothing but nice. I recently had issues getting mail so I went in again, this time I was helped by a very rude/ belittling middle age man who was nothing but nasty. Like I said I like most the other employees but the last one I delt with should be removed.

Once again my package didn't get delivered on scheduled day posted. What's your excuse this time... It was put on wrong truck, nobody was home, no address found ? Poor management.
