Really cool spot! Amazing food and service, and a cozy atmosphere. They have some really unique décor and furniture in here, making for a very eclectic look. Our waitress told us a little about the history of this place. Lots of cool stories, and lots of character, def check it out!!

Hitting their stride. The new owners are delivering special treats and continually refining this magical place. Their new chef, Amillie, is knocking it out of the park with new culinary creations that are delicious and unique. I popped in to try first-hand her new menu and got to experience her daily special made with haddock and shrimp. It was a delightful treat on many levels. The food, service, entertainment, and atmosphere was top notch. I'm excited to go back and experience more.

Dream Away Lodge has excellent food in a rustic farmhouse setting surrounded by beautiful woods. The cannellini bean spread and bim bap bowl are especially good.

First time. Excellent food. Wonderful atmosphere for this long time Dylan fan. And, to top it all off, my car got stuck in a ditch, walked back to Dream away, and they could not have been more helpful!!!! Chris and Steve and Dillon and a couple of other guys took us back to the car (3 miles on bad roads) and tried to push the car out. When that didn't work they took us back to the lodge and the owner Andy let us sleep the night there! Nikki and Delia gave us bedding and we were able to sleep until getting towed in the morning! Talk about the loving kindness of strangers

Wonderful atmosphere with amazing food & service. Cocktails are great with the sweetest porch view. If you are in the Berkshires this is a spot you don’t want to miss!!

Laid back atmosphere, make sure to make a reservation as it can get busy. I was told the burger was one of the best my boyfriend had. I also enjoyed the curry shrimp and crab salad. There's also live music in the living room and a fire pit outside which we will be coming back to experience.

This is a very special place with a rich history. We went on open mic night, so two people in our party of five performed and had a wonderfully great experience. This is a must go to place when in the Berkshires. The staff are super friendly, and the bartender was delightful. They have a great selection of local beer and I know some of the reviews listed the food as unfavorable but we enjoyed what we ate and we think they’re trying hard to getting this right. There’s also a wonderful outdoor fire pit. You just can’t go wrong coming to the Dream Away Lodge. It’s a very unique experience. I highly highly recommend it I think next time I go to inside out at Jacobs pillow I will look forward to a dining experience here.

We enjoyed our first visit at dream away lodge. The ride up the mountain road was pretty cool. The people who work there are super cool and friendly. The atmosphere was completely laid back and has nostalgic decorations of when musician Bob Dylan and Joan Baez played there. Lots of musical history to read about. There is a music room where they host shows and open mic nite. The food was good though a bit pricey so for us it would be a special occasion to visit again.

Sooo happy that Dream Away is back. Same fabulous vibe, ambiance, karma. Gracious servers, good food. The menu is still under development and choices are limited, but it is expanding week by week. I have been there five times since July(I live in Becket) and always leave happy. Leave extra time to stroll in the beautiful gardens or warm up by the fire pit.

Loved the new super friendly Dreamaway. Menu was delicious. Wait service very knowledgeable. Iceberg Wedge, Jicama Salad, and Cannelloni dip. The Chicken Marbella and Vegetarian Curry both winners and had an excellent fish dish special on a 2nd visit. We were worried when new owners came in this year. No worries, we will be regulars again.

Just had my first experience at the Dream Away- what a special place! We had a really lovely dinner last night. The homemade bread was delicious, as were all of the many appetizers we ordered. One particular favorite for our group was the patatas bravas poutine- so tasty! The mushroom dumplings were also delicious.

The drinks were great and the staff was so gracious. One member of my party likes her cocktails pretty sweet so she wasn’t as much of a fan of the hibiscus margarita as the rest of us… the server insisted on making her a brand new version perfect suited to her tastes.

The vibe here is super. The staff are extremely professional and attentive, but it is also informal and cool. The grounds are gorgeous. Overall, this is quite a spot! Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at the Dream Away last night. The food, service and atmosphere were all just perfect! We went a few months back and were disappointed - but I'm so glad we decided to give this special place another shot. The new chef and her team are really knocking it out of the park!

A local friend recommended the Dream Away as a venue for dinner for about 40 people the night before our wedding celebration in the Berkshires. Fortunately, the timing was perfect, as they were not yet booked up and their new chef had just started. Despite the unseasonably cool, rainy weather in mid June, it was a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. In particular, Chris (general manager) was really helpful. We planned an outdoor event and they helped us to set up popup tents, and lit a fire pit so our guests could warm up. After dinner, several of us hung out at the quirky bar and listened to the band. I have to say, it wasn't cheap - but everyone ate well and had fun!

Love this place! Eclectic, delicious, different menu items, cocktails, staff with personalities, and you have to check out the Music Room!

I love this place. The food is farm to table fresh. The atmosphere is wonderful. I went for Memorial Day weekend on Sunday. Daniel ( previous owner) escorted us to our table. He explained that the menu was temporarily limited to give the kitchen a chance to get going post Covid. He asked us for patience.
We had delicious food and wonderful service. Daniel cleaned tables, helped out and made everything work despite being short staffed. I will definitely be back. This place is a gem and a labor of love. Thank you to Daniel and the new owners and the entire staff for saving this wonderful place!

Season 2019 off with a bang. Spectacular food and service the spring menu made for a challenging decision. I went with the Vietnamese Crab cakes and Chicken Milanese. Both dishes were perfection.

The crab cakes we're served as finger food to grab cake with lettuce and fresh herbs, following a dip into a tasty chili sauce.

The chicken was prepared perfectly with a small arugula salad and a touch of spinach fettuccini. And a lemon wedge.

I am looking forward to many more visits this summer

I went to the Dream Away Lodge last weekend. It was the first weekend where they had their own chef in the kitchen running the show (previous weekends were via their "Chef-in-Residence") and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the service was excellent (and fast) and the live music made the atmosphere/vibe perfect! The new owners even came over to introduce themselves -- very nice people who own a house locally. Welcome back Dream Away -- we missed you!

Really worth checking out of you're in the Berkshires. Food service was just getting started when I visited, and I wish they had more local brews on tap, but you can't beat the atmosphere. Ownership is changing, and I hope it's in good hands.

Lots of atmosphere! Find your way through the back roads of The Berkshires to find this place and enjoy the early/mid 20th century vibe. A group of people had a camp fire going in the large front yard! You get the idea.

I built my home 3 miles from The Dreamaway Lodge because of it's spirited atmosphere of creativity. So stoked that the rebirth of Dreamaway is in such great care. The Chicken Marbella is off the hook delicious and the new sound system in the music room has really elevated the listening experience. From the days of Mama Fresca when she would serve a simple no-holds barred family style supper, to the new 'Mama's Meatballs'- which pays homage to the original proprietor-- I am delighted to learn of the future expanding menu from the beautiful and talented new Chef, who's nurturing spirit and use of things harvested from the gardens like edible flowers (you learn something everyday) and her experience in both culinary arts and eco-garden design bring mother nature to the table. Every meal at the Dreamaway has been heartwarming. Reading these reviews that are so critical of the team that's trying to save this old relic is disheartening. It's amazing what this team has accomplished in just two months. Hats off to Amillie, Scott , Sheryl and Andy and the rest of the team who are doing so much to preserve and elevate the Dreamaway for all of our enjoyment in the future.
