Veranda Apartments

I've been a resident of this Apartment Complex since May 2022. As a single senior, living in a family apartment community, I really didn't know what to expect. But now, after almost 2 years of living here, I feel comfortable and safe in my environment! The management team , Veronica and Makayla are caring and quick to help me solve any issues that have needed attention. It's been a nice, quiet and beautiful place to live!

We've been living here since early January and would like to say we sincerely enjoy this apartment. Coming from Phoenix, Arizona the two locations are quite different but in a good way. Not every apartment complex can be perfect but I will say that even with a few nitpicks I wouldn't change moving here.

Pros:
- Draper is a wonderful little area, and you have most shopping within 12 minutes from the apartments.
- Two large elevators to make moving in a little bit easier, especially if you're on a higher floor.
- Big open floor plans with spacious balcony/patio areas.
- Parking garage is a plus if you work from home like me and don't want your vehicle exposed to the weather.
- Office staff is very helpful and communicates through multiple channels.
- Maintenance is very quick and courteous.
- Beautiful views of the mountains from most of the units, Utah is a very pretty state.

Cons:
- Lots of kids; this means playing inside and running up and down the hallways periodically but this does cause quite a loud noise.
- Parking garage door is incredibly finicky, you have to kind of wave your key card at your windshield until it opens. I would much rather prefer a button to open or even a keypad pillar near the garage opening.

All in all, this place is really nice and I'm not worried too much about the cons but know it could be important for some folks.

Updating my review since I lived here over a month now.

So far after a month my experience has been great. I love the location where I’m at in the apartments. I’m on the bottom floor and never hear neighbors upstairs. Kids do run and scream down the halls but not enough where I’m bothered. This is an apartment not a house so understanding(: everything works great in the apartment. I keep to myself mostly but one day I accidentally left my keys in the door on the outside of the apartment and an older couple knocked and kicked until I answered to make sure I got them. So grateful for those two. The children also are very helpful if brining in groceries or big packages. They will help open the door.

I have lived here for 3 years. The office team and maintenance team are excellent.!! All is good conditions.. Good job!

Veranda is a great community! Units are comfortable and beautiful. The covered garage is a must have in Utah. We love living here!!!

Veranda has been fantastic! The apartments are beautiful and I got a corner one that has a lot of room. Better one bedroom than I’ve seen. They are quick to fix things, somehow remember what apartment I’m in and helpful in the office to handle business. I like text updates with changes. Only drawback is they are quite busy in the office to call… but just pop in.

Very friendly staff! This apartment complex is accommodating to all situations, and helps set you up for success. The floor plans are very spacious and comfortable. The parking garage is a life saver with the snow or hot summer days. Love living here!

Veranda Team is very professional and kind. Liberti and Veronica in the office are helpful and answer any questions that I may have. The Maintenance team come quick and respond to any issue needing fixed. Good Job The V Team!

Well, I love the management. The ladies always treat you with respect and the smile and they always help me. I love the apartment it’s it’s big it’s very nice and the park garage it’s indeed very easy to make fit easy for us and everything it’s work almost perfect never going to be fair for it because we’re not perfect but I believe the girls on the office do the best they can to maintain this place nice

Love Love Love this place! I have lived here for about a year and a half now and I never want to leave. Everyone in the office has always been super nice and helpful. I lived here alone in a one bedroom and after a year I needed to add my fiance and move into a 2 bedroom. Kim, Justin and Morgan were super helpful and made it the easiest process ever! Most of the reviews I see are just people that break the rules and get in trouble. Parking is never an issue, never had a maintenance issue, office is always super understanding. We are moving out after this year and its super sad! I'm going to miss this place.

I have lived at Veranda about 4 years now and love my house. Management is always very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. They work hard to keep this place nice for us, and the issues on bad reviews are due to other tenants not management. I love that I can feel safe here in a secure building.

It was a very good experience living in Veranda, they provide very good service to the tenant, the office and maintenance group are excellent, the tenant is important to them, they attend to the needs of the tenant very well, living in Veranda, it was living with a great family Thank you all for your great support. We are very grateful to all the Veranda and Wasatch staff.

We are so happy to call Veranda Apts our home! We have been here 4 years. The staff works hard to keep this complex a home to be proud of! We appreciate our office staff and maintenance staff, the cleaning and groundskeepers.

The maintenance men that came (JC and Jacob) did an awesome, thorough job. Really happy with their efficiency and timely manner in which they displayed. They showed up in time, when they said they would and really seemed to know what they were doing! Thanks guys!

My husband and I have lived at Veranda for about 6 months. The staff made the application process so easy. Our third month in the apartment, we had a maintenance issue (on a Sunday) that was taken care of immediately. It is incredibly quiet, and that's something that my husband and I find very appealing. We are really happy to call Veranda our home. If you are in the market for a great place to live, you should definitely check this place out. Thank you to all the staff, you guys are amazing!

We have only been here for a week but so far everything has been great! We love the apartment itself and management has been great to work with. I have already heard about the car break-ins in the parking garage from a resident here but I’m honestly not super worried as of right now. No issues here, and hopefully none down the road :)

We love living here! We were some of the first tenants to move in and have always been impressed! The office staff is so kind! They remember my name and always make it a point to say hi. We’ve had maintence in for a few very minor issues which were quickly fixed (the head of maintenance is so patience and nice!) and the office staff every time called to make sure that everything was taken care of. There’s disrespectful tenants in regards to trash and neighborly conduct but you’ll find that anywhere. In regard to other reviews who mentioned the rent increased.... this is part of living in a restricted income property. It’s an annual check with the government and it is written clearly in the lease. I agree it stinks but our rent is still so much lower than anywhere around us... especially for what you’re getting! Our apartment is spacious, beautiful floors & cabinets, kitchen has so much counter space with an island and good sized bedrooms with huge windows. All in all, we feel very lucky!

Veranda was a fabulous place to live! The staff are so nice and easy to work with. If I ever needed something fixed it was fixed the same day. The apartments are very nice and spacious! The rent was affordable for such a brand new clean place. Overall I really loved living there and if life events would have permitted I would have lived there longer!

My husband and I moved here almost 2 years ago, and we are very happy living here. We are comfortable and proud of our home. These apartments meet all of our needs..stylish, quiet, safe, affordable and lovely amenities. Our property management and maintenance staff are very responsive, professional and friendly. We are so grateful to call Veranda Apts "home".

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time living at the Veranda apartments. The space is well designed, beautiful, and very clean. From time to time we could hear our neighbors below us slam a door, but that was our only small discomfort. Staff is very responsive and helpful, and I’ve witnessed the maintenance guys on several occasions working hard to keep the grounds spic and span. We were super happy with our experience and if needed, would likely return to Veranda again!
