A-1 WOK RESTAURANT

I came in around 8pm tonight and they were busy. I tried to call in my order but a msg said to come in for faster service. I ordered $75 work of food. The gentleman who took my order greeted me with a smile and verified my order before sending it to the kitchen. I honestly thought that I was going to have to wait a long time because I had ordered so much. I maybe waited 15 once placing the order. It took 10 mins to order because they were so busy. My order was hot , fresh, and delicious as it always it. I was even more surprised at the freshness because it was ready prwtty fast. The woman forgot my almond cookies but she ran out to my car before pulling off. I gave five star for my ease of ordering, service and quality of the food. I live 20 mins away by hwy and it was worth the drive.

Love their duck fried rice and chicken wings. Anything I've tried here, as been good. Order always correct. Fairly priced.

I haven't been here in almost 20 years. I e once lived in the area and frequently went to this place because of the great food they served. I recently visited and was shocked that they still have the same great tasting food!! I was taken back to the past. And they are still busy with customers, as they were before, if not busier. If you go here for the first time, you will definitely return. Thank you A1 Wok for keeping it original after all these years.

Love this rice house!!! I googled chinese food near me with hopes that I would like it being my first time, and I fell in love with this particular one.. Did not disappoint ..

There was a period of time when the food was tasteless. Well they fixed that and make some of the best rice in the area.

Ordered delivery through door dash...my order was correct and my rice was hot and delicious..will definitely order again...

I’ve been going there for the past two years and I haven’t been upset yet. I honestly believe that this is the best rice on the southside that I have had.

I recommend to call in your order . The prices are reasonable and food is good.

I gave them a 5 star for the food, but the phone customer service from one of the cooks was rude. I was able to place an order on the phone, but when I asked how much is it so that I would bring enough money, he got angry and told me that he does not give prices on the phone. Moreover, he told me I had to order in the restaurant, pay for the food, and then he will cook it and then he hung up the phone. When I called back to get an understanding of what just happened, the person accused me of asking over and over how much and that was not true; I only asked him once, and he refused to honor my order on the phone. I only continued with buying food from them because I promised my co-worker I would treat her to lunch from A-1 Wok because she likes their chinese food and it was her birthday. They are also more expensive than other chinese restaurants whose food is just as good if not better. Thank you.

This restaurant was great! It is strictly a take out joint. The service was quick and efficient; I waited only 5 or so minutes. There were plenty of other locals ordering food, so I was feeling pleased with my restaurant choice. We ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein, both came as white meat. The crab rangoon was also very tasty, all large and fresh. They were both delicious, and I am very picky about my Chinese food.

Great food! I just wish you could place an order over the phone and THEN pick up. But they can't or don't answer during dinner.

My husband loves this place. He eats there at least once or twice a week.

Love this place. One of the last of "real" the Stl rice houses.

Food is always delicious and everyone is always friendly and helpful...my order is always hot and ready when I order take out and delivery is always a breeze..plenty of parking and a few seats inside to wait for your order.

This place has been around for a long time I remember waking up here as a kid from the Peabody and Darts Webbie and they are still pretty damn good
