The Bog Tavern

My husband and I went her for lunch today and were treated to a nice view and tasty food. My BLT was amazing with a side of their homemade chips and my husband's tuna tacos were super fresh. Friendly waitstaff, we would definitely stop in again!

Don’t usually review take-out meals but this was too good not to mention. Fantastic food!! Poutine, fish sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Excellent, will be back!!

Loved loved loved this place... The food was fantastic, the drinks just right & the staff was unbelievably attentive, not to mention the chef brought out our dinners & made sure we were happy with our meals....👍👍

Really like this place. Unassuming location with great decor and seating. On the deck in the summer is always good. Let me tell you, the food is good, but the "pork wings" blew my hair back. Seasoning and cook was 100%. Everything about this particular app was perfect. No flaws at all. Mains are all good, and service is great. Live music regularly and specials that make this place stand out. Visit!

Always gracious ambience, always reliably good great food. Usual good service was interrupted by long-time employee's need to schmooze with everyone. Didn't help that a drunken table neighbor was loud and obnoxious. Will try again off-season.

This is not the same dinner/tavern as a few years ago. Little more formal. Still a good place. Just be aware as the pictures are mostly of the old place

Our party of 3 all enjoyed their bog blt sandwiches with grilled sourdough bread. Thank you Cheryl for being such a friendly and attentive server.

I loved the atmosphere! A cozy tavern with high end food and drinks, pleasant waitstaff who went above and beyond their duties to make our small family feel warmed and welcomed! I wish I could remember the young man's name, but he was a phenomenal waiter! And I was shocked to hear he was a new team member!
I absolutely loved the homemade chips, hubby enjoyed his burger! And my 4y.o enjoyed most the large Swordfish above the mantle!

We arrived and were told that there was a 25 minute wait for a table. We may have waited 15 minutes. Our server Dan was awesome, even as it was his first night. Apps were delicious and cocktails were great!! My husband and I both had burgers and they were scrumptious!! We will definitely be back to The Bog!!

We were away for the weekend and on a recommendation we tried The Big Pub. Super happy we did! The clam chowder was delicious and fresh with the clam shells still attached! The baked stuffed quahog was quite large and the stuffing was very tasty and moist. We absolutely loved our meal's. There was live entertainment on the back deck or you could choose to sit in the dining room. The owner was in the dining room checking on diners, serving plates and making sure everything was great and customers were satisfied. It's obvious he takes great pride in what he does and wants to ensure a pleasant experience for all. I would definitely recommend The Big Pub.

Service was great - very friendly, from the hostess to the bartender and wait staff. We came on a Monday night recently and there was a 10 minute wait so we had a drink outside and watched the sunset.
For dinner, I had the pulled pork sandwich and Brussel sprouts. The pork was delicious, I'd definitely order it again.

Nice food variety. Great staff. Outside chairs were more comfortable than I was expecting.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Massachusetts! The food is beyond amazing (and so is the service. Brian was fabulous). They are very accommodating for people who have food allergies. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Delicious food and great service. The menu had plenty of options and was priced well. It was clean and comfortable. The dining room was not noisy which I enjoyed. I also had desert which I don't often do and it was excellent. I would go back and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous food. The chips with rosemary and Stilton are insanely good. Steak frites is dynamite. All the apps are winners. The specials are inspired. The craft beer selection is top notch. The servers are nice and the patio is a bonus. Service is fast and courteous.
