What a fantastic practice! Talk about patient care, they are the best. I had a dental emergency and they got me right in (even though it was near closing time). Madison and Alexis were friendly and went out of the way to help me. Dr Sandefur was compassionate, thorough and very professional. I HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone. I liked them so much I switched my dental care to this practice!

As a newcomer to Georgetown, the daunting task of finding a reliable dentist was at the top of my to-do list. My search led me to ThoroughDent, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, the staff greeted me with warmth and efficiency. The appointment was prompt, which I greatly appreciated given my busy schedule.
What stood out to me was the clarity with which everything was explained. The dentist took the time to walk me through each step of the procedure, ensuring I understood what was being done and why. This level of communication not only put me at ease but also instilled a sense of trust in their expertise.
The combination of friendliness, speed, and thorough explanations made my visit to ThoroughDent a remarkably positive experience. I’m glad to have found a dental practice in Georgetown that I can rely on for future dental care needs.

This is the best dental office and I am so thankful to have found them! I quite literally cried in the office during my first appointment. These were tears of gratitude! I had some very negative (and painful) experiences with other dentists and dental hygienists before, and I got overwhelmed with positive feelings at Thoroughdent Smiles. Every single person in the office was kind and warm, and those working on my teeth were gentle, nonjudgmental, and patient. They highly value your comfort and keeping you informed. I want to shout out Dr Ritz especially! He, and the rest of the team, are passionate about their job and helping people.
I also want to shout out Denise in the business office!! My old insurance company is the worst and I came into a really confusing, tricky financial situation. Denise contacted me and kept me informed every step of the way. She advocated for me and went out of her way to make multiple calls and inquiries on my behalf - I'm talking more than the average person would, or would even be expected. I have never been to any healthcare facility where you get equally great care across all departments and roles.
If you have had a negative dental experience in the past and are wary about getting care/trying somewhere new, please make an appointment here. My entire relationship with dentistry and dental hygiene has changed for the better.

I love coming here! All the employees are super nice! The front desk ladies are very helpful and polite. Hats off to Dr. Ritz for an amazing job on my procedure. I was really impressed by his assistant Grace for being so knowledgeable, thorough, and making a trip to the dentist less stressful of an experience. They have my business!

I totally loved going here. I was diagnosed with periodontal disease and was quoted 1700.00 for treatment at another place. These guys made me feel welcome and their quote for treatment was literally (with insurance) 1/6 what the other place also quoted me with insurance! Madison was great and bubbly and really easy to talk with

Going in as a new patient, I must say the service at this office was well above exceptional and honestly not what I had expected based on my previous experiences with dental offices. The front office staff were very warm and inviting. Check in was a breeze. Both, Dr. Smith and his hygienist were very attentive to my needs/concerns, and were extremely informative during my visit w/ them. Thank you! Dr Nada and her assistant were wonderful! Previously I had been sedated to have this procedure done. Dr Nada, with her calm professional demeanor, performed this procedure without any discomfort.

Dr. Sandefur and Reagan were absolutely phenomenal. Gentle, communicative and enthusiastic about their work they removed a rotted tooth that was causing me severe pain. I consider the work they did nothing short of a miracle. I went from 10/10 pain and not being able to speak, eat or sleep to manageable discomfort and peace of mind. Even though i live in Frankfort, all of my dental appointments going forward will be with them.

Dr. Smith and his entire staff are great! They are very professional, friendly and caring. We just started with them, and they are definitely where we will continue with our dental needs.

First off thank you Dr Sanderfur and the assistant Madison! Thoroughdent smiles got me in right away for a troubling tooth and took care of it same day. I've had no pain and am healing nicely! The staff and Dr were amazing! The whole office has smiles and a good vibe, night and day from my old office. I can't get over how pleased I am with this office!!

Excellent caring staff, facility was pristine clean. Top of the line equipment providing a thorough cleaning with ease. I was extremely nervous of going to the dentist after traumatic experiences elsewhere but after a very trustworthy recommendation I called and was given an appt quickly. Appt day came and was on time called back for my appt. Everything was explained and shown to me with the best care and concern, tips/hints to help prevent future damage were given. I felt like the staff was very caring and understanding to my situation and concerns were handled with care. Follow up appt was provided timely to get worst concerns handled quickly.

Literally the best place for dental care! Dr. Smith, Dr. Neda, & Dr. Ritz have taken amazing care of myself and now my mother and grandmother for years now! I couldn’t be happier with the care and friendliness of the doctors, hygienists, assistants, and staff! Highly recommend.

The Office staff and Dr Smith went above and beyond for me with out questions asked. I went with pain and left the office with zero. They worked with me in every possible way to make sure that everyone was happy and my needs fit my budget. I was so blessed for the office staff as a whole and especially for the measures of Dr Smith to get me out of pain and make it possible to be seen and affordable. My gratitude is endless for them. I hope God blesses his practice measurably. 🙏

My husband and myself had some dental work here. The staff is very friendly and professional. I always get very nervous to go to the dentist but everyone went the extra mile to ensure that I was comfortable and well taken care of for the entire experience. I genuinely can not say enough good things about this dentist.

Thoroughdent is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, Dr. Smith and the hygienists are always hilarious and make me feel at ease. The office is very clean and comfortable, I really enjoy coming here for dental services and will continue as long I’m in Georgetown!

Very professional, very nice, very caring. Called yesterday for an abscess tooth and they got me in today! Will definitely starting going to them for all dental needs and they are an hour and 45 minutes away.
