Gyros On Main

This place is a gem. We were looking for a place to eat when we came across Gyros on Maine, and we are so glad that we did. We tried their Chicken Shawarma which was so flavorful and had so much filling. The same can also be said about their veggie shawarma. We also tried their baba ghanoush and as expected it was nothing less than super delicious 😋. They also have some of the crispiest and well seasoned fries. The place is clean and well kept. The people working there are very kind. I am glad we found this place. Will definitely return soon.

The people are patient while you decide on what you want to order. The Gyro was huge—one of the best meats, not too greasy or full of fat. Fast service!

Excellent gyros. Haven't found a replacement for our old neighborhood in Erlanger Greek to Me but now that we're way out of NKy we found this place coming back in town for Dr appts and family visits in Ft Wright.

This small retail location serves tasty food with abundant portions. We bought two main platters and a couple of Hummus dishes to share amongst four adults; we still had leftovers...tomorrow's tasty lunch.

First time ever trying it. Great staff even better food. It tasted better than the mouth watering smell while waiting for my food. I got the spicy gyro because never heard of doing so. Blew my mind and hugged my taste buds. 11/10 recommend. For being busy at 1 am I had my food fairly fast. The worst thing I have to say is the cheese was not melted enough on the fries for my boyfriend's cheese fries and face it that's really not complaint worthy. Thanks y'all I will be back any time I need a gyro fix! Fair warning you may have problems finding parking in this area but it's not their fault though.

This is one of the best places in town. Great, authentic, affordable Greek food. I cross the river from Cincy for the spicy Gyro and greek salad. They also have really good fries and the Chicken Shawarma is very good too. The dessert case looks excellent, but I haven't tried any of it yet. It's an instant add to the weekly rotation.

Gyro’s on Main is my new go to place for authentic Greek food out of all the Greek restaurants in NKY. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma.

Gyro was overloaded with meat and toppings, tzatziki tied it all together. Fries were perfect texture. All around lovely

Honestly probably my favorite gyro spot in town right now. Between the incredible service, good food, and convenient location it’s gonna be hard to beat. You how some gyros are sometimes too big and unwieldy or on the other end, not enough meat or tomatoes. You won’t find that issue here, perfect portions and great quality.

Friendly people. Delicious gyro. Being a place that mostly does takeout I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and friendliness. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and quick service! I had the gyro with feta and it was delish, perfectly cooked and the tzatziki was amazing. My husband got the spicy gyro and it wasn't crazy spicy which I was nervous about! We got the fries and they were the battered seasoned kind super fresh and crisp. We got an order or spanikopita which smelled amazing very dilly but I was too full to try it so we got them to go for later. Would definitely recommend we will be back again

Me and a close friend went out for lunch here. This is a local place with really good food. My friend and I both ordered the gyro lunch special with a side of fried mushrooms. The gyro was a good size and the fries had a great texture. And those fried mushrooms, they were superb! The workers were also super friendly and considerate. I have no complaints.

I got a gyro, and am 7 months pregnant, and super picky. This was the best meal I’ve had my entire pregnancy. The tomatoes and lettuce were super fresh, and the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Customer service was absolutely excellent and makes you want to come back. Highly recommend!

I was in Covington on a work trip for a few days and came here twice. I had the chicken once and the gyro the second time. I also had cheesecake both visits. My coworkers came with me on my second visit and they loved the food, too. Great value and food. The staff is beyond friendly and treat you like family. Everything from here was fantastic and I’ll definitely return when I come back to Covington.
