I love this location! You got some really great cashiers here and just a great staff in general. Since 7/11 took over they have had some really great offerings on waters and snacks. Come check 'em out!

EDIT APR 2023: it’s hard for me to stop at any other gas station. If I’m in Covington Bellevue or Newport I’m coming out of my way to go to this Speedway

They’ve done A LOT of work to try to clean the store up over the last few months and it is showing. This is a tough location to run, right off the highway in an inner city setting. I don’t envy the task. They’re doing a fine job though and I hope they continue to do so as I stop in here most days every week

Always busy, never been there where I didn't have to wait in line but still there employees get you out quick. Once there is 2 or 3 customers in line an employee will come from no where and start ringing people out on a cash register. They try to get you out as quick as possible and not make you wait in line.

My Fiance and I only stop to get Gas.

Edit: on 09/18/2021...... I stopped by this Speedway after avoiding it for a while (see below), and actually the store was clean, the staff was friendly especially the clerk who served me which is the only reason why I am posting this new review.

The clerk, Vicky was very polite and nice and even went out of her way to make me a fresh whole pizza. Speedway needs more employees like Vicky because it was refreshing to see a Speedway employee actual do thier job and Vicky not only did her job but was kind, very positive and brightens the place up. She deserves a raise.

So, I am updating my 1 star review to 5 stars, but only because if thier employee, Vicky.

Posted early 2021: I have been going to this Speedway before it was a Speedway, meaning many decades. I would normally give this store a good review but lately this store is a negative place. There has been so many staff changes that is disrupted the quality of service to the point where I see people walk out because of it.
For example, I was in there today and the employee, Tom was the rudest and most disrespecting employee that I have seen in any place I have ever shopped.
In fact, just because Tom did not understand how to redeem a digital gift card and when I politely asked him to have a manger assist him Tom blew up on me, screamed at me, embarrassed me and my friend and the screamed for me to leave the store and said he, Tom had a right to refuse service.
Shocked, I walked over to another clerk and she checked me out with no issue.
I would like the store manager as well as corporate to reply to me so that I can reach out to them because as a Pastor I am extremely offended and plan to file a formal complaint with all details expanding the small summary above.
Rude employees, poor customer service and if you like to be chastised for being polite then this is a place to frequent. NOT

This absolutely is my most favorite gas station in store to be out in front of cuz once again I am born and raised in Covington Kentucky and I see all my friends and family that comes in and out of there every day and night

This is a great place to get breakfast lunch and dinner and even snack it's the best place I found when you're traveling to stop and load up on your gas and anything else you might need to eat and toiletry blankets anything you need they have it and that is great we love it a whole family loves it the family is six we love it very much

Very convenient location and always clean. The people that work there are always nice and there are no people begging for money outside. Safe at all hours.

Convenient location, easy access to I-75
I'm from Ohio but come to this speedway to buy cigarettes because the taxes are lower. $10.20 for 2 packs of Marlboro Black...they are $15+ for 2 packs across the river .

Great place to fill up . As you walk in the door the staff al.ost always greet you with a smile as well as hello good morning it's a pleasant way to start the day . The price for gas is always the lowest around and the shelves are always stocked .

They have always been pretty good and they have there days, long before the 🐂💩 COVID, of people willing to show up for work. Never a problem with their gasoline or fuel where water is concerned.

Every time I go in there everybody is so nice and very helpful I do choose to go there than any other gas station

I go here every morning and the staff is always so happy...even at 630 a.m.! Great store!!

Truly the best coffee I can find around town they even have a double-shot cappuccino machine

Great friendly man who runs this Speedway and always has in stock what I want to buy and if he doesn't, he'll order it like certain canned drinks and coffee's.

Nice and clean friendly ppl was in and out with out an issue Two Snaps and a Clap

Wow!!! 10 degree weather and the window washer station is full of water WITH detergent and paper towels. Premium is priced at market (as opposed to being $1 higher like I am starting to see at ... poorly run stations)
