Brix Wine Bar & Bistro

Great service and amazing food. We go at least once a month and it never disappoints. Every fish dish is perfectly cooked, the pesto flatbread is amazing. The grapefruit martini will make you smile.

The food was delicious, the wine was good, and the service was top notch (we sat at the bar). It can get a little loud at some points because it's not a very big place, but we will go back! Please note, that it can be a bit pricy, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.

What a delight it was to dine at Brix! The atmosphere was great and the service was above and beyond what you would expect. We had no less than three persons during our dinner that showed up at our table. The size of the restaurant, not large, makes it very welcoming and cozy.

My wife had the Chicken Carbonara. The chicken arrived with bacon, sun-dried tomatoes & spinach in a parmesan cream sauce with penne pasta, shaved parmesan & grilled focaccia cheeses. My wife absolutely enjoyed this dish. And, there was plenty left over to take home. I had the Bone-In Pork Chop. The chop was a 12oz cut which I ordered grilled. I selected French green beans with mushrooms. The chop arrived over a bed mushroom risotto.

Been coming here for years for Happy Hour. The staff is always great and the food is incredible. Deon and Marcus always have really good wine recommendations and they have a decent Bourbon collection. Tyler the GM is on point with the food recommendations and pairings. Great experience every time.

Great Food. Great service. We love Brix. We each get the scallop app and we split a filet for the perfect surf and turf. It’s not that the scallop app is too small to split. It’s that you won’t want to split because it’s so delicious. The salmon is also top notch. For the younger guest, the burger is a 10/10 and the chicken carbonara is amazing.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! The fried green tomatoes were amazing and the scallops were delicious! Will definitely be back!

I cannot say how much I love Brix. The food is excellent, the wine selection is expansive, the atmosphere is electric, and the team is engaging. You should definitely check it out for yourself.

The best kept secret on the East End for excellent food. An awesome ambiance that is super low key and chill. And the service is over the top, from ownership to the kitchen everyone here leads by example. I cannot love this place more and it makes my heart happy every time I go. They also support local artist and Veteran's. Military and Veteran's are treated like family here. As a foodie I don’t post often but Brix truly deserves it. Thank you!

We rarely eat out anymore because we’re generally underwhelmed by the food for the money, but this food was worth every penny!! The flavors were ridiculously good and there was such attention to detail and preparation. Ferris at the bar was amazing and huge props to the chef! Can’t wait to come back!

Wow! BRIX just delivered a memorable dinner experience! And is right in our east end back yard! BRIX has proven that we don’t have to go far to find good food. Tyler, Corbett, and Deon all delivered top notch service. It wasn’t like we came in and had one server who cared, they all took care in the experience we enjoyed. Hats off to Chef Gabe, who delivered us an elevated dinner that intrigued us to come back and try more. Put BRIX on your must try list, because you’ll want what we wanted and that’s more of what BRIX menu has to offer. Thank you all at BRIX and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

If you’re looking for a quiet, classy, hole-in-the-wall or shotgun style bar, you may have found it in Brix. Oldham county's secret? I doubt that; always seems to have a comfortable crowd. Drinks are excellent and the food is very good. Worth a visit when in the area.

Busy little place, nice atmosphere although could be a bit loud. Loved the Godiva martini and the Tangerine moscato martini! The Chefs plate was quite spicy but good!!

The food is always great. I had the Walleye and my husband had the bison burger and we both loved our meals. We had a big group and they took good care of us.

Amazing wine bar! You don’t usually expect much in the way of food at a wine bar. The normal fare is flatbreads, charcuterie, and salads.

Brix is different. Their food was top-notch excellent. We happened in here on our way through town, and they did not disappoint. Their wine by the glass selection was great, too. None of the mass produced swill here! They offer great red options that even made us zinfanatics happy!

Amazing food. Fabulous service. Our favorite restaurant. If you haven’t been to Brix Wine Bar, you must. Tyler, Leslie and Each amazing server create a wonderful dining experience. The concept of a true neighborhood spot where they know your favorite drink and what you like to eat. Everything is delicious.

After 16 years in Louisville, Brix is conclusively our favorite hometown restaurant. The ownership and staff is so wonderful, the chef is an underrated talent and we always feel welcome and at home there. The portions are perfect, prices are reasonable, the other patrons are friendly and it’s great to be a regular. Never miss the weekly seafood special, the wedge salad or the pesto pizza.
