Bourbon Haus 1841

This place was great! The location is super cute and nostalgic. It is in a really old house and is styled impeccably. The inside is not only welcoming, but the outdoor patio area is perfect for a spring/summer day (which we enjoyed). The service was even better! We had the best bartender ever (I forget her name) - I understand this is a bourbon bar (which they had a huge selection of), but she made some kickass tequila and vodka drinks for us gals. They were seriously AMAZING and so refreshing. I will definitely be taking other family and friends here in the future.

Amazing blend of bourbon, bourbon cocktails, great music and excellent service. Demian is a very good bartender and bourbon steward, can't wait to go back!

It has quickly become one of our favorite places to relax with great cocktails and conversation.

Since I wrote that four years ago, it's only gotten better. It's our go to place whenever we are out. There is an ever growing group of regulars from all walks of life, sharing conversation and laughs. Best of all, first time guest are greeted like long time friends of the family. It truly is a warm and welcoming place.

OH, AND DID I MENTION THAT THEY HAVE THE BEST PATIO, IN COVINGTON, FOR HAVING A DRINK AND MAYBE A CIGAR?

Intimate and cozy, with a perfectly urban patio. So comfortable for those times when you want to mix good conversation with very nice bourbons. Service is EXCEPTIONAL. A must do before dinner...or after dinner. Just a must do. And if you aren't clear about your bourbon preferences, the expert barkeep will be happy to steer you to one of their many bourbon flight offerings.

Wonderful atmosphere. Patio is amazing. Very attentive staff. The Madison cocktail is delicious. Will be back again!

The Bourbon Haus is amazing. I have been coming here since it has been opened and have LOVED every visit. It is so nice to be able sit at the bar, on the patio or in the small seating areas and talk with my friends and make new friends with those who come in to sip on the wonderful selection of bourbon. If you haven’t been to the Bourbon Haus, you are missing out!

This is the kind of place that even if you have only been once, you feel like a regular. It's friendly, cozy, and has a great selection of bourbon.
On nice nights, the patio is the best. You can listen to music, meet new friends or hang out with old.

Bourbon Haus is truly a special place in the Mainstrasse Village. The atmosphere is intimate yet inviting. The crafted drinks are exactly what one should expect from a place that puts the word "bourbon" in their name; unique and original cocktails that you won't find anywhere else... but don't get me wrong, you'll love the classic drinks as well, like their signature smoked Manhattan! The selection is wide and the cocktails are AMAZING! Not some generic riff of the ordinary like what you might find next door. No, these are thoughtful concoctions served by a knowledgeable staff. Try it out for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

Impressed by the knowledge of the bartenders. It’s like going to a bourbon museum, but you get to drink the exhibits! If you’re a bourbon fan, this place should be on your must visit list.

We are from the Chicagoland area but my husband is working in the Covington area for a couple months. I come to visit him every other weekend. We have been to Bourbon Haus twice now and we are in love. They have an excellent selection of bourbon and the atmosphere is so very cozy and welcoming. The service is also excellent. The bartender was gracious and made recommendations she was also very engaging and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This was a very enjoyable place to have a drink before heading out to dinner. The Bourbon choices were good. Not quite the choice of another favorite Bourbon bar, but there is plenty here. The bar tender was very helpful filling our drinks and supplying cracker jacks at a table outside. Loved the one Bourbon, one scotch and one beer menu option!

How fun!! We loved it here. Bartender/owner was very knowledgeable. Incredible selection. "Make yourself at home" greats you when you walk in! Comfortable and laid back atmosphere. Have already shared with family. You should definitely stop in.

Careful, the guy behind the bar is a good salesman and will definitely help you find a bourbon you like. Great selection and good people were three while we were there testing some of the fine selections.

Awesome bourbon selection and great ambiance including the best patio in Covington. Classic rock n roll music playing all the time—a great place to enjoy cocktails.

Holy forking shirt!!! This is the so for best bourbon bar that I have ever been to. Don't get me wrong, OKBB is fantastic, but this place is fantasticer. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, beautiful ambiance. Bourbon bar or not , this is one of my absolute favorite places in Cincinnati. I absolutely recommend this place.

My husband and I happened to be passing through this charming town on the way home to Detroit last December. We wandered into Bourbon Haus when it was snowing out. It was like something out of a story book. The owner was shoveling the walk and came inside to make us a couple of wonderful drinks. Great guy. We can't wait to get back down there again. Must see if you are in the area!

The Cinnamon Girl is a must have, a phenomenal drink! The Old Fashioned is also good, the bartender was friendly and the owners were there as well and were very personable, will definitely be back!
