Max Orient

First time eating here and it honestly was so good I had to leave a review. I had fried rice, steamed vegetables, bourbon chicken and jalapeño chicken. The food was fresh, very tasty and I got enough for 2 people for $9.99. Customer service was great. 10/10 will be back!

One of the best and my all time favorite fast food Chinese restaurants. Every single thing they make is delicious, the portions they give for thier prices is well worth it. It is so much food, I have to order a kids meal. It's such good food I have driven 10-15 miles out of the way to eat there.

This place never disappoints. Always service with a smile and fresh hot food. Let’s not forget the portions. You get your moneys worth and leave with your tummy satisfied. Always enjoy eating here in the mall. They work hard and do circles around the other food places. Great job!

The best Chinese food around for the price. Combo plates range from 7 to 11 dollars depending on which combinations you choose. As far as portion sizes go that really depends on who is serving you. I have went there and received very large portions in every meal and I have went there and felt like they could have added more. Either way it's still a good amount of food for what they charge and the quality is always on point.

Look the food! Family ran. Been coming here for far as I can remember! 15+ years. Watched the owners children grow up! Always get massive amounts of portions! Came all the way from downtown Louisville to Jefferson Mall just to enjoy it! Recommend it to anyone that enjoys Chinese food!

This place has been the bomb for over 20 years!! Absolutely delicious food, friendly and fast service, I cannot say enough good things. My favorite are the honey mustard chicken, jalapeño chicken, bourbon chicken, and Kung pao chicken. Their crab Rangoon is one of the best I've ever had.

This is my favorite Chinese fast food. The food is always fresh, but I wish they would season their green beans and noodles more. They're too bland.

I did -2 stars on atmosphere simply because it's the mall and it's not something that they can help. So please don't take anything away from them because of that. We love Max Orient my kids, beg to go there more than any other place, we live an hour away and will drive there just the food. It is cheaper than most places but the quality is always high, I have never once had a bad experience there, and the amount of food I get is absurdly awesome. I have introduced my friends who now say I ruined bourbon chicken in Peking chicken for them from any other place 😂 I know exactly how they feel, I tried finding a place closer to me, and while I've had some good experiences nothing compares. If you ever go and there's a line it is a hundred percent worth the wait in the line goes really fast the food is always fresh. 10/10, 100% recommend.

Even though it's in the mall this is one of the best Chinese shops in Louisville lots of options really good

Got the bourbon chicken and o my goodness...it was so good!! I highly recommend eating it. Also their fountain drinks tasted really good too. Nice service as well for being in the Jefferson Mall. Only place I eat when I go other than than the cookie place!!

I got a double serving of their jalapeno chicken with vegetables. It's a lot of food for the price. The chicken is lightly breaded and is both sweet and spicy. The veggies are always fresh and cooked in such a way that they are still a bit crunchy, not soft or mushy like some others. The staff are friendly, professional and very attentive. I find Max Orient to be of much higher quality restaurant than what you might expect from a mall food court restaurant. Many of us locals know it too, so don't be surprised if you see a longer line than the other eateries there. We all know that Max Orient is worth standing in line for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Food is ALWAYS HOT AND DELICIOUS ! Friendly staff ! Serving sizes are a pretty decent amount . I never can eat it all and take half of it home . I go as much as I can when I'm in town . I highly recommend this place !

You can never go wrong with "sample- sample"!!! Whenever I'm near Jefferson Mall, I always have to stop to get my peking chicken, noodles, and steamed vegetables. The food is always delicious and abundant! The prices are really reasonable as well. If you don't mind waiting in line, it's worth it.

Best Chinese food in the city since 1995!!!

Great for fast food. Big serving&low prices. Best bourbon chicken around. Taste like made on charcoal grill. The juice is delicious on rice,have to ask for that. Peaking chicken good too
