Copper & Kings Rooftop Bar & Restaurant

This was such a great find! We weren’t able to get a tour but the tasting was not only good, it was very informative! Amy took her time answering our questions and making it truly fun! She even gave us a great recommendation for lunch (since the restaurant wasn’t open yet). We left with great memories, brandy’s and gin’s!

We stopped in after dinner to have some cocktails on the rooftop and enjoy the sunset. Our server was friendly, helpful, and prompt. My husband and I shared the cocktail flight, the margarita was my favorite from the flight as the other two were a lil too bitter for me.

Came in an hour before close for drinks and they were amazing! Our server was very friendly and helped us pick out drinks! I asked about purchasing a bottle and they checked with the manager who was very helpful and took us down to the giftshop. Fantastic experience with great and unique liquors.

We had a great Sunday afternoon touring the distillery. Our tour guide Sara was amazing and had a wealth of information to share. Super personable. She even hooks me up with a cocktail recipe for their absinthe. I highly recommend checking out Copper and Kings. I think it'd be great for tourists and maybe even better for locals. I love that I have the option to go hang out and just chill in the great space that they have created at Copper& Kings. The pics I am including are not the best, but I love love love that we got to see their storage area, probably my favorite part of the tour.

Came up here after our tour because we just couldn't get enough of their products. So glad we did. Beautiful patio area with nice view. Delicious drinks, knowledgeable bar tenders. Perfect chill atmosphere. And they have a happy hour from 5-7.

Recommendation drink: Old fashion served-up (chilled but served in an empty glass). I love my whiskey and bourbon and I can easily say that sitting outside in the sun with a drink in hand with friends and a beautiful outside view is perfection. Whether you are a tourist or a local, get at least one drink and sit outside.

The cocktails available are great. The friends I went with each enjoyed their drinks. Come here and grab a drink in the sun. Guaranteed the experience will be a good one.

we had a reservation for a beautiful thursday during happy hour and had some of the best food and drinks. we shared the truffle fries, warm goat cheese dip, & the flatbread. everyone had a variety of cocktails including the lovers quarrel and rosalita.

while you’re there you can see a beautiful sunset overlooking downtown louisville. it makes for a great evening out with all appropriate safety precautions in place!

Great roof top location! We enjoyed the adult beverages and made a few friends! Friendly crowd and big drink selection.

Food was fantastic, brandy flight was even better. Cool space with a nice view. Loved it!

"Brandy is a fine girl" , and this is a great place to find her. Definitely try the Greatest Hits flight of brandy. Watching the sun fall over Louisville is a grand experience from the rooftop. Although I would never say take a break from bourbon, this is a worthy side step from the Bourbon Trail.

So glad I decided to come by today. Simply put— I couldn’t ask for more out of a dining experience.
Both cocktails I enjoy were mixed to perfection. The wait staff was kind and the food was unbelievably satisfying.
We split two specials, the pork hash and the chicken sliders. Both were so well balanced.
All this while watching fog roll across the few skyscrapers Louisville has.
To anyone visiting our native to this city, you must stop by.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and sat up on the rooftop. It’s partially covered so there are shaded areas if you prefer that. My husband and I ordered two rounds of drinks and they were all delicious. We are planning to come back tomorrow to do the tour. Our server Kia was great!

Alen&nder was AMAZING! The tour at Copper and Kings was wonderful and informative, but tasting these creative cocktails was the highlight of my day! Chad the bartender was phenomenal! A large party walked in without a reservation and Chad (as well as the rest of the staff) kept their cool and handled the tough situation with grace and a good attitude. The cocktails were delicious and super original! Amazing and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

We loved our first experience at Copper and Kings! The food was first rate and some of the best I’ve eaten. I will say the drinks are very alcohol-forward but I think it’s to showcase the spirits distilled here. If you like boozy drinks this is your place. The highlights for me were the Steak Tartare and the Umami Burger with some divine smoked potatoes on the side. Presentation was great and the portions were perfect. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We gave a confusing order and the server was prepared to immediately take ownership and make it right. We declined the comp as it was on us. We will definitely be returning!

We made a reservation last minute to come here and I'm so glad we did. Our server was Traci and she was very friendly and attentive. I ended up getting a low blood sugar (I'm type 1 diabetic) and the manager, Alyssa, came over to make sure I was okay and that if I needed anything she would male sure we were taken care of. It was very sweet and made me feel like this was a place that really cared about people. We got the cheese curds and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp and yummy batter. I got the dampler for liquor and my favorite was the Moons of Juniper gin. Definitely go here, make sure you make a reservation.

What amazing incredible space Copper & Kings has. First floor is their distillery, second floor is the gallery and third floor is the rooftop bar. The whole place was beautiful and the third floor rooftop bar had such a chill vibe. And the drinks were outstanding. I had their Sazerac and the anisette forward Purple Haze. My wife had their Old Fashioned and Fly Me to the Moon. Delicious cocktails.

We were a little bummed their kitchen was closed when we visited. Their menu looked terrific. And if it was anything like their cocktails, it would have been amazing. Next time.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks we got were works of art. Also got a flight of their spirits which were all great as well. It was slow when we were there, albeit early in the evening. But the atmosphere and service was still fantastic.
If you are on the fence at all about coming here, don't be, You won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely rooftop bar with indoor/outdoor seating. My favorite place to get a cocktail in the city (Purple Haze is incredible) and they have the best burger in town. It's so simple but just done really well. I feel like I can dress fancy or casual and not feel out of place. The only drawback is that it's in Butchertown, so sometimes the smell of the factory can be a bit much when active...but you can always sit inside if that's the case. Can't wait for warmer weather again to frequent this place on date night!
