Kuhl's Beer Depot & Eats

For 20+ years, I had no idea this place had food, well, in the fresh sense. I had always known it be Kuhl's Liquor, just a normal little liquor store in the curve by Stooges. A friend of mine asked to meet there for breakfast one day after he told me it had a little deli type grill for fresh food orders. To my surprise, He Was Right. They have an omelette breakfast platter that is so good and portioned just right for breakfast and lunch. It may be a little pricey to some, I personally don't know anywhere someone could get a breakfast meal and a lunch meal for a total of $10. The staff is always pleasant and eager to help you and their fellow coworkers.

Been going to Kuhls for years. Always a good experience. Been eating they're food for years but just lately started getting the BBQ sandwich. Holy hell have I been missing out. Love it!

Best place in town to get a check cashed and they got some pretty good food for the prices. Get your lucky 2 dollar bills and half dollars here too!

Hole in the wall store/restaurant but the food (i.e. breakfast burrito and grilled chicken sandwich) is pretty tasty and made to order. Staff is friendly

Really good on the go breakfast food. It's a convenient/liquor store with a kitchen in the back. Seems kinda random on the surface. But have great breakfast burritos and the best gravy around to go on potatoes or biscuits or whatever you like.

One of Louisville's best kept secrets for good food. Stop in and try the cheese fries, you will not regret it. There are several other items on the menu that I especially like, but everything is made fresh to order and is very good.

Owner is very considerate and the lunch there was awesome. I had fried bologna and was great. Thick slices of bologna set it off.

Ah man! Grab two large bowls of Super tasty bean soup; or two large bowls of delicious gumbo soup for the "spicy"; or two large bowls of chili with spaghetti; or two large bowls of your choice with one piece of homemade fried cornbread patti with each bowl for 7 bucks. Going back to try Philly cheese steak and Reuben sandwiches. This is a family owned and operated , known for their Soups-Salads-Subs, on Grade Lane for two generations, beginning in 1966.
Anyone seeking employment that lives nearby, they have a hiring sign on the front door.

Been visiting this place since i was a little girl and its still as awesome now as it was 15 years ago. Fish platter was amazing and filling couldnt even eat it all!

I love to sit at the tables in side, while drinking a Coke and scratching off lottery tickets. It is a nice hole in the wall sandwich shops / general store!
