Dr. Douglas E. Mattingly, MD

My experience with Dr. Mattingly, Dr. Thad, and the entire medical staff has been nothing short of exceptional. These doctors and nurses are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about their patients. Whenever I’ve called with a concern, they’ve gone above and beyond to get me in for a prompt evaluation. I trust them completely with my health and appreciate the wonderful care they provide.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mattingly and Dr. Thad, along with the wonderful nurses here. They are absolutely amazing. Every time I've had a concern and called in, they've been incredibly responsive and managed to get me in for an appointment immediately. The care and support provided by Dr. Mattingly and Dr. Thad, as well as their team, are exceptional, and I'm truly grateful for the excellent medical care I receive at this office.

Dr. Mattingly is the perfect blend of being a very capable and smart doctor (he can give you the scientific and medical background/information ... while being able to explain things in layman terms) AND he has wonderful bedside manner. He never rushes me. He asks many questions and is very thorough. I feel as though someone is looking at my whole medical history and taking the lead in my overall health and wellness journey. Very grateful to be under his care. Last but not least: everyone in the office is gracious, professional and upbeat.

I have been with Doctor Mattingly for over 20 years and I can honestly say he is without a doubt an excellent doctor. He speaks to you with compassion and understanding. He listens to you and pays attention to what you are telling him. I appreciate having him as my doctor and know anytime I have anything for him to be contacted it is always handles with a priority to ensure I get the best treatment possible. I recommend anyone to give him a try. I am sure you will very quickly realize he is one of a kind. I could not imagine myself ever going to see another doctor. Now that he has his private practice appointments are handled efficiently and in a timely manner. I can reach out to him through various apps from his practice and receiver quick responses for any questions I may have. Doug is always available and when he is not he gets back to you very quickly and is able to help.

Ignore the old reviews! Dr. Mattingly is now a concierge doctor, and his services are well worth the fees. He obviously enjoys spending the extra time with his patients. My personal experience has showed his genuine concern with all phases of my treatment, from the diagnosis to treatment to follow-ups after treatment.

I just had the best doctors experience I've ever had at Doug's practice yesterday. From the time I called to schedule my appointment, to the time I was seen and my prescription filled, was a total of 3 hours. I didn't have to wait with a bunch of people in the waiting room. By far the most satisfying doctor's visit I've ever had. The time I saved and efficiency with which I was served far outweighed any cost incurred by a concierge service. I feel very well looked after. Great service.

I have been going to Dr. Mattingly as long as I can remember. We always start the visit checking on each other‘s families and remind each other about how old we are getting. Him and I have a conversation just like I would with any of my friends. He makes you feel comfortable, very easy to talk to, he listens to what you have to say without making you feel rushed. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis. Many times providing a couple option to treat. When I leave the office, I feel like I got the answers I needed.

We have been patients of Dr. Mattingly for over 15 years starting when the previous office was at Jewish Hospital South. We immediately liked his manner of making you feel comfortable. He was able to address your questions and concerns in ways you could understand. We have referred many friends and family to him over the years including our 87 year old Father who has many medical issues. Dr. Mattingly always treats him with respect and great care. We all were so thankful when Dr. Mattingly and Thad Riley opened their new office. We love the care we receive and the quick response we get for any medical issues. We did not hesitate to join their concierge practice. We think that Dr. Mattingly and the whole office are the BEST!

Dr. Mattingly has been my Doctor for almost 20 years. He is the best that I’ve ever gone to, and my father is an MD! He is very personable and takes the time to really diagnose your issues. I’ve never felt like I was just another patient with him; he’s treated me like I was his only patient.

Dr. Mattingly is the best doctor I have ever had. I can't say enough amazing things about this man. He listens and is really there to help his patients. The staff is also very good. I have no issues with getting messages to Dr. Mattingly or getting new prescriptions between visits.

Dr. Mattingly is the perfect doctor for concierge medicine and Ultimate MD. It is now very easy to get an appointment with him, and he spends as much time as needed. He's been fantastic, and I really appreciate his careful, caring style.

I have the highest regard for Dr. Mattingly. Not only has he provided excellent service consistently over the years, he has regularly gone over and above in his patient care. If they had a way to give more than 5 stars, I would give as many as possible. I have never had better medical care.
