Cadillac’s Chicken and Fish

My husband and I decided to try out a new place today. Happy to report that they did NOT disappoint. Not only was this place clean and open. The staff was super nice. Food portions were great! My sandwich (which had the bread in a different box so it wouldn't get soggy 😀) wasn't small by any means. Everything has fresh and hot. So, if you like the things you see on their menu. You should give them a try!

Always thought “this place is pretty nice” until it got closed. Now I only wish it was back! Not sure the circumstances behind everything, but I hope they come back soon! Great food, good prices, and kind personable staff. Miss you Cadillac’s!

Fish taco lovers rejoice! Stopped in after reading article about this little gem. Our server was attentive and sweet. We ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were delicious served with a homemade dill/horseradish sauce. I came here for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. You get two in an order made with fried fish and beautifully dressed. Hubby enjoyed his fried cod dinner. You get a large portion of fish, two sides plus hushpuppies. Have to mention their breading is worth coming in for, it's not your usual heavy batter. We both had the homemade sweet tea. Restrooms were clean, friendly staff.
Definitely will be back. If you're looking for a new place to grab some delicious fish stop in.

I have one word for this place... AMAZING! Service was super friendly, polite and most of all covid safe! Everyone was wearing masks and the tables are spaced out perfectly. The spinach and artichoke dip is hearty and delicious: served with made to order chips that are to die for! The catfish was flakey and moist and cod nuggets where "pop-a-ble" and full of flavor.

Drove all the way from oldham county to try this place, and it did not disappoint. I got the fish tacos and they were really good, so is the Cadillac sauce on them! Fried pickles and wedges were great also! I’ll definitely come back!!

This local Highview served the best fish in town. Veteran owned, and owned by women make this a special place to eat.

Ordered take out for dinner, it was ready before the estimated time. Went to pick it up and it was hot and ready. My fried chicken sandwich was excellent. The mushrooms are also good. Crab cakes were excellent. Hush puppies very tasty. We will order here again!

Best fish in the area and we love the service, setting, and convenience.

The food is great, was ready quickly, and I love the cadillac sauce should have gotten more. The lady there is super nice and I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

First time going. The food was delicious, and the staff was amazing. Very friendly and inviting. Out waitress was very understanding with my food allergy.

We placed an online order for pickup. We were kindly greeted upon arriving.

We ordered the catfish, wings, fried pickles, hush puppies, green beans, cheeseburger, and mini corn dogs. All were delicious- truly all the items were very well prepared and tasty.

We'll be returning soon!

Really enjoyed our food and service. Brandy was our server, she was auper knowledgeable and had insights about the food when we had questions. Ordered the fish tacos for lunch as well as gator bites as an app. Both were VERY tasty, well breaded and quick to come to the table. We chose this place because it is minority and women owned. Not from Louisville, but will make sure to stop back in next time were here.

Just ordered 2 orders of fish tacos and onion rings thinking I was going to down them all….. no. I’m so stuffed and happy. The food is amazing. Super friendly!!! Very clean on the inside and out. Definitely coming back. Just not today. Too full to move.

We had fried cod, onion rings and slaw. Everything was prepared well. The service left something to be desired, as our server seemed to be elsewhere most times. At the conclusion or our meal, instead of asking if we needed anything else (such as dessert) our server brought the check. Nevertheless, I still recommend this venue for good neighborhood seafood.

Saturday, August 28 - second visit.
We decided to take up the owner's kind suggestion to "give us another try." As expected, the food was great. We had the baked chicken and chicken fingers. The alligator appetizer was good. I hadn't had alligator since a Florida visit many years ago. Our second visit was made special by the outstanding and personable service provided by Missy. Missy kept us informed that the kitchen was backed up because of a huge take out order. Nonetheless, she had our freshly prepared appetizer out to us in about 15 minutes. A busy restaurant is a place where you want to eat anyway!

The best fried fish in the city! The breading is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly! The sides were great and the service was even better!

My husband has been wanting some fried fish so we checked this place out & it did not disappoint. He had the fried catfish dinner & I had the fish tacos & fried mushrooms. Everything was very tasty & decent portions. We will definitely be back!

We came here on a whim, not expecting too much. Good menu with home cooked sides, you can make some healthy choices. Food came hot and delicious. All four of us were pleased with our meals. Staff is friendly. Like everywhere, they are short staffed so the food was a bit slow, but worth the wait. Will return!

Prices are reasonable, service was good portions were large and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back. We had fried pickles, fish tacos, cod nuggets, fries, wings, onion rings and fried mushrooms. The mushroom and onion rings were some of the best I have had in a while. The decor is simple but it is a good meal at s good price.

We walked in, ordered carryout & had a great experience. Waitress was friendly & we got our food within 15 mins. I had the fried fish sandwich & my husband had the fish tacos....both were very good! We will definitely be returning.
