Hitching Post Inn

Everybody should stop by the historic Hitching Post!!! My food pictures didn’t turn, our food was delicious. We got some hamburgers and some appetizers.
This was a pretty cool place, the owner is a good guy. Pretty cool talk to. Julie was our server. She was great. She was also the cook too. The food in here was good. The place was clean. We were happy and we will be back.

We had a reunion at Hitching Post. Their employees are happy and enjoy being there. The owner is great. It's been a family owned business for a long time. The food was good. A live band played very popular music that night, so a great time was had by all.

Tonight was our first night there. My husband and I are fairly new to this area. Bought a house near by and decided to finely check it out..
I absolutely love it. My kinda ppl. We will definitely come back for more than a meal and a drink for sure checking out karaoke nights and looking forward to more live music
The bar tenders were just as sweet as their tea and were very accommodating.
Being it only our 1st time there ..well 1st impressions mean a lot..

The Hitching Post offers a unique and enjoyable atmosphere, reminiscent of a Northern Michigan bar, complete with a deer mount above the bar and a Southern rock band that delivered an unforgettable performance.

This place has one of best burgers that I have had in a long time! The the freshly bread cod fish was also dope! The staff and the patrons where friendly and helpful with suggestions on the menu. A guy named Don is an awesome dude that welcome me when I first came in, which made the experience even better!

Every time I come to Louisville, I make sure to stop at The Hitching Post for a Bloody Mary. The fries are delicious, too! The people are great!

We ordered our food for 2 and listened to the band. The food was delicious and very affordable. Clean surroundings

Didn't have any food, but its a great local bar. I am looking to start a Thursday night Karaoke gig here in the future, so be on the look out if that's what your after!

I left out a star for food because I've never eaten there. This is a great place to grab a few beers and enjoy either live music, or they have a killer sound system with a juke box like system where you can choose whatever songs you like. The outside patio is really great to hang out with friends. The bar is clean, the staff are attentive, and you can often find the owner chatting with regulars.

Met very friendly owners and customers, sadly I came in at closing. But I will return for a live music night

The staff here are very friendly and, and the food was very good.. Mozzarella sticks, fish, fries, chicken strips.. All of it tasted great, and very affordable prices as well. Great live music, had a really good time!

Played music there on Wednesday. It was a fun place and the people there were awesome to play for!

Heather the bartender is fabulous. She greets you with a smile and definitely gives great customer service. Appreciate your workers like this it will keep customers coming back

Went to the hitching post to have some food and drinks with friends.Met the owner and was very well received, the place is awesome with a lot of history. If you ever come to Louisville this is one of the must see places..

Great little bar, awesome beer garden. Hellacious bike night on Wednesday nights, great entertainment.

To me it's one of the best bar burgers in town and it beats some of these burger joints all to pieces. I'm not talking like McDonald's or White Castle. Not those burger joints but the higher class burger joints

We had a great time during our first visit at The Hitching Post. Super nice people, good food, comfortable and fun atmosphere! Plus... they are pet friendly!!! We are looking forward to our next visit!!!

Stop in by myself after a long ride with a friend. Hadn't eaten all day. The lady attending the bar was polite, quickly to serve me. Even thou I just took a seat... to relax, with a beer. She even was nice enough to bring my plain bacon cheeseburger out to the table. Will go back and with the guys next time. Thank you to the bartender, guess she felt sorry for me, I was running on E.

The food was exellent. It took a while to get our food, but the bartender was also the cook and she was by herself, so that's excusable. She did a wonderful job considaring she also had a bar full of patrons that she was also helping at the same time.
