I called yesterday and went today. Everyone was very professional and they had the part i went for at an extremely reasonable price. In the past I've always gotten my shoes muddy walking thru a salvage yard but not at Gilbert and Mitchell Auto Parts! I recommend with 5 stars to patronize this company as I will again. They have been my first call for all parts needed in my company Gaddis body shop of Louisville.
Jeff has been my point of contact for all parts he is very knowledgeable and stays on top of my parts until delivered, fantastic service with no disappointment.
Tommy The owner has a great crew of employees with a family hospitality. This company is a greater part of Louisville highly recommend.

Tom and Jeff have helped me out tremendously over the years from a transmission for my mustang with low miles for a great price. To even small things like an trans dipstick tube for my Colorado. And recently Tom helped me get a master window switch for my truck when my stepdad who works at a local yard didn’t even have one in stock. And eBay sellers wanted over $200 for. Super helpful people fast at pulling parts and easy to exchange core charges with when it comes to transmissions and engines. Do not hesitate to go see these guys.

We have been dealing with this place for years, and there is a reason they have been in business the longest. They have set hours of operation, compared to other places in the same area where you're lucky to find someone in the office during the busiest time of day. These guys have everything you could possibly be looking for, and guess what? If by some chance they don't, they will have it there the following day, because when you're in business as long as these guys you have connections all over the Country! We love Jeff, he is very quick to respond, and it's hard to haggle on prices when he makes sure we get the best price possible every time!

Tommy coud not have been nicer or easier to work with. I called and checked on the availability of the part I needed. They were waiting at the door for me when I went over to pick it up. Price was more than fair and as agreed to on the phone.

After trying to find an inflatable spare tire for my Chrysler Pacifica locally I got the phone number of Gilbert & Mitchell from a salvage yard in Des Moines, Iowa. Tom took the time to locate the parts and send video so I knew exactly what I was buying. Tom was very helpful and great to work with.
