Very professional hair braider, Super pleased with how my hair as well as my mom‘s hair turned out! Janet did my mom’s hair first, and then with barely a break turned around and did my hair meaning she stood for at least 10 hours to get both of our hair braided. And I failed to tell her that my hair was long, almost longer than the extension so I thought she would be unable to braid it. Even though it was still good long, she still managed to braid it with the length of hair that she had (see red braid pics, red hair was stretched & added) and it turned out amazing. When she braid it, she braids it in a way that doesn’t tug too much on your scalp so it doesn’t hurt like normal. Also when she is braiding it your head is not being snatched every which way. I’m serious, I was able to doze off a few times into deep sleep when she was braiding…if you regularly get your hair braided, you know that rarely happens. When she is finished she adds heat to the scalp with a warm towel which helps the hair relax even more. I will definitely will be returning.

Ms. Janet did a wonderful job on my daughters hair. My girl has a ton of hair and Ms. Janet was able to complete her knotless braids very quickly compared to other braiders we’ve been to. She did a fabulous job! We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Ms. Janet for about 5 years now. I love her!!! She’s very professional and always have me in the chair at our scheduled appointment time. Her prices are VERY reasonable, amazing energy and she has always made sure the environment is comfortable. I’ve never had issues with losing my hair/edges (and you know women don’t play about those edges lol lol). I’d give her 10’s across the board if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 🤎🤎

Love this woman!! She is easily the best/most experienced braider I’ve had in Louisville. And she will have you in and out but when you leave you won’t need to come back for a while because her braids last👏🙌 I also love how friendly and caring she is for her customers as well, after my appt she made sure to call me later that evening to make sure that I was sleeping with a head scarf to keep the braids looking fresh. Also, her pricing really matches the quality and attention to detail that she puts into her work, so I would say that Janet is 110% worth it!!🫶🏽🫶🏽🤩

I absolutely love how she does hair. She takes her time and is very kind. I got braids done around May 15 and just took it out on July 4th. It still looked pretty good as well! I would recommend coming to her if you want a long lasting style thats cheaper then many other stylest. Im very happy that I came to her and I would recommend many others to her!!

I really enjoyed the short length of time, my braids, also she is a joy to have doing your hair. With a wonderful spirit. My box braids lasted a long time and the braids did not hurt my scalp or pull my edges out. I will continue to go with her.

I had a great experience with Janet! She managed to squeeze me in last minute and was very flexible with me. I told her about my problems I have with my hair she and she accommodated. Braids came out great and she’s very fast. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Janet braided my hair for the first time today and I am BEYOND satisfied. I called her on a Monday and asked if I could get my hair braided the very next day and she was available! She is professional, personable, and super fast. I am amazed as it only took her 5 hours from start to finish and she was the only braider. Janet is Bomb! She is super fast also. Also no one can mix colors like she can when it comes to having multiple colors for you braid style. She is professional and a woman of excellence!

This was my first visit but it definitely won’t be my last! Janet is very friendly, personable and most of all great at what she does. I got small box braids and she finished in right under 4 hours. Added bonu——my braids are not too tight😁!!

Janet was very professional and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. Not only was my hair neat and tidy, it was not unbearably tight. She is so light handed that I was getting sleepy. Lol
She also is very nice. I changed my hairstyle at the last minute and she was very accommodating! She will be my new braider.
