I was passing through on my way back to Chicago from Tennessee and decided to stop in. At first I thought the pricing was a little high but then the food came out and it was totally understandable. The quality in ingredients was higher than anything I've had here in Chicago. The steak melted in your mouth. 10/10 will stop in next year again on my next road trip

5 star reviews are rare but this place left me euphoric. The carnita torta was plated in a creamy sauce and sent fireworks off upon first bite. A crispy crust balanced the tender, moist meat. This sandwich makes my top 10 all time favs. All three extra sauce options were so good that I used a different one in each bite.

My wife and daughter had the rice bowl (carnitas and salmon) and they raved about the perfect balance of texture and flavor in every bite.

My actual rating of my experience here is 4.5 stars, but I'll round it up to a 5.

First of all, the customer service was very pleasant. Everything in the restaurant looked clean and organized.

As for the food, I ordered two tacos--one with mole chicken and one al pastor--and their mole fries. The taco al pastor was out-of-this-world good. Like, I saw stars when I bit into it. I found the mole chicken taco to be a little underwhelming. I would have liked to have mole drizzled on my mole chicken taco rather than just having the chicken tossed in mole sauce--I supposed that's something I could ask for on my next visit. The mole fries were solid, though. In hindsight, I should have just dipped my mole chicken taco in the extra sauce that was on my fries.

The sauces they offer were really good, too. They have mild, hot, and extra hot sauces for people needing a little extra zest on their food.

All in all, I would definitely eat here again.

After having given on trying Mexican food in the South, we thought we'd try this spot after reading some reviews. Pleasantly surprised. Had the Suadero, Al Pastor, Tinga, and the Veggie taco. Great flavors, soft tortillas!

Went here for lunch. 2 people, 3 tacos, nachos & 2 drinks. Tip included, $50. Food was good. Didn't have to ask for anything. Food was hot/fresh. In my opinion, they could have hotter sauces. Other than that, 5 stars!

Excellent tacos and amazing sauce. The chips are nice and thick and the qeso. The atmosphere is fun and bright. Excellent service and the staff seem happy to be there.

Great place for delicious and beautifully presented tacos. My favorite of what I tried was the barbacoa. The building is cute, nice patio when the weather is warmer. My to-go order was ready when I got there, staff was quick and friendly. Definitely will be coming back to try out more taco options and their house queso.

Very nice taco place. Lots of choices and good service. Two tacos filled me up. 3 if your starving. Wasn't crowded for a Tuesday night. They will make any taco you like if you don't see anything on the menu.

Very good taqueria. Portions are actually large for street tacos, so don't over order. Cool vibe. House hot sauces are quite unique. Sides are also large and tasty.

Sauces are so good. Don’t judge based
on the outside facade or how you order (walk up to counter and they deliver - no table side waiters)!1

The food is delicious... Restaurant is so clean and the restroom is nice clean and very ADA friendly. We had the Desayuno and the Tinga sandwiches. We also enjoied the barbacoa, carnitas, mole, and baja fish tacos. All the flavors are on point and the portions are perfect to share! They have some awesome starters and drink sepcials and sides.

Not a lot of vegetarian options, but the ones that they have taste out of this world. Great ambience, good service, reasonable prices and most importantly tasty food. No dedicated parking but ample street parking available around.

This place was on our list of restaurants and bars to go to over the next year and WOW was it good. I had the Desayuno Torta with some Corona and my girlfriend had the Tinga Torta with the Sangria and eventually the Sangria Swirl (not pictured). We also had the chips and queso. All of it was DELICIOUS and portion sizes were huge. We ate on the patio and the decor and music were the perfect vibe. Will definitely be back!

The food is really great. The restaurant has its own signature taste, when it comes to a lot of the different varieties of food that they have. The tacos, and the sweet potato fries are extremly awesome! I really like the sauce that comes with the sweet potato fries. A must try! I can't get enough! I wanna try a bit of everything everytime I come to the restaurant, because the food is that good. This has to be one of favorite places to go grab a bit to eat in the city of Louisville.
They have a wonderful facility. I love how the restaurant is decorated on the inside, and as well as the outside. The inside has a really cool Mexican, modern type of vibe. It has a very cool, and unique look versus many other restaurants of this nature. If you don't want to eat inside the restaurant, well they also have sitting areas outside of the place as well. With chair's, table's, with the umbrellas, to get some fresh air while you enjoy the outside. When you place your order, they will also bring your food to your table for you, rather you are dining in or outdoors. The place always looks really clean and neat everytime I have been.
They do have a nice variety of drinks. Quite a bit of alcoholic drinks from what I've seen. Margarita's and things to that nature. But I do wish they had a little bit better variety for the non alcoholic drinkers such as myself. But for the most part I could deal with what they had. But it would be great to get like a traditional lemonade or something like that. The place does have bathrooms. It does have a ramp that I imagine could be used for a wheelchair/ handicap access. The prices at the restaurant are not that bad from my experiences. And I'm not to sure if they have their own private packing lot. I have always parked on the side of the street somewhere close by. But on a busy day, I can easily see the parking to no be so great. You may have to walk up the block at times.
Overall the restaurant is great, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves great food, and great service. It's a very good experience, and I guarantee you will want to go back after you have tried it. GOOD JOB! A- 👍🏾👍🏾

My party came in semi-haggard from a day of walking, but ready to dig in. Taco Luchador never disappoints and I’m glad to say this location was totally wheelchair accessible, down to the height of the tables. We got started with some heavenly mango margarita, split four ways. Wait staff was incredible, and when the food arrived it was as though a hush fell over the table, we were all so enamored with our plates. The birria is unmissable but don’t discount their tortas with fried plantains. Whenever I come down to Louisville from Indiana this is a must visit.

Food is CRAZY good. Especially for $3-4 a piece. Arguably the best tacos I've ever had. They're not just great with tacos, everything they sell is amazing. Seriously, if I could rate it higher I would. Don't even bother looking anywhere else for food, just go here. You can literally throw a dart at the menu and get 11/10 food.

This place has some bomb eloté! Other food on the menu is good too! Plus they have drinks and you can't go wrong with that! Staff is friendly and the restaurant has a good vibe.
