I was referred here after struggling with brake issues for months - Mark and everyone here was so kind and knowledgeable, and made sure to update me with what was going on! They fixed the issue for a fair price, and even helped to give me advice on other car questions I had. Thanks y'all!!

Mark has all my repair work now after using other places that either botched the job or couldn't figure out what was wrong. Hunt & Knight has always done great work @ a reasonable price. Their ability to diagnose problems is unmatched. Highly recommend them.

I will only bring my vehicles to Hunt Knight from now on! Mark and the guys have taken great care of me on my own personal car, and the three others that I have brought in for family multiple times. The price is right for the work, the timing is always great and I usually get my vehicle back the same day as long as the parts are available from their vendors. Such a great thing so I don't have to miss work. The office staff, Valerie & Peter are absolutely amazing and always either have an answer for my question or find it and call me right back. Love this place! Glad to know I have a reliable mechanic that I can count on for me and my family!

Wow, I am blown away by the amazing service I received from Hunt & Knight! Last week I was driving my boyfriend to work on the highway, and all of a sudden my car started pulling, and I did not feel comfortable driving back to our house, so I stopped in to a tire store to see if it was my tires, and it was not, they said it was more mechanical. They gave me Hunt & Knight‘s information and I am so thankful. I called them around 10 AM, and they were able to get me in right away to diagnose my problem. Turns out I needed a new router and axle for my left front tire. Everyone was very professional and they showed me my car on the lift, showing me what the issues were - I could literally see that my wheel was not in a great position! They were able to get the work done for me that day within four hours, which was a real lifesaver as we are a one car family and waiting until Monday would have thrown our whole schedule off for the weekend.

Mark, the owner, was especially kind and waived the lift fee for me. Everyone was just so nice, and even though it was a large unexpected cost, I left their shop feeling happy, mostly due to their stellar customer service! I was also able to take a peek in the back at all of the awesome classic cars they are working on - super cool! I was looking for a mechanic here in Louisville, and this is now my place! Thanks again Mark, Denny, Valerie, and Donny - you guys are awesome!

2004 drivers power seat track replaced. Part not made by mfg. anymore, had to find from junkyard parts, very hard to find, first one did not fit, luckily found one elsewhere. They have the experience you can count on to fix your car, even when it takes extra effort to find parts. They did this for a good price and took great care of my car, it looked nice when all done, exterior and interior. If you appreciate nice and honest people you do business with, take your vehicle there, you will be glad you did!

On my trip from Ohio to Texas my 87 Grand National sprung an oil leak in Louisville. Luckily, I was referred to Hunt and Knight by the Chevy dealership. After receiving the referral I called and spoke to Mark (the owner). Mark said he could look at the car same day, which was awesome because I needed to be back in Texas by Friday. Mark gave me the number to a great tow truck driver and I was able to get the car to the shop. After only a few minutes Mark diagnosed the issue and his team got the car squared away within a few hours. While I was waiting Mark even let me borrow is car to grab lunch. All in all, I was very pleased with the work that was done and the professionalism of Hunt and Knight's organization. Thank you for the great work!

Best mechanic I have found to date. Hands down, no competition. Fast, professional, and honest. My car is still on the road, and after 3 other mechanics couldn't fix it, they finally did.

Their integrity is above any business I’ve ever encountered! They first replaced a wheel bearing assembly in 2017 on my Infinity FX35. I was surprised the bearing failed 2 yrs later in 2019 after only 23,000 miles. The shop owner Mark evidently shared in my disappointment and repaired it free of charge, refusing to even allow me to pay for parts or labor which I know won’t be fully recovered from the component manufacturer. They’re the only business I’ve ever allowed to touch my classic corvette, and now the only ones allowed to work on our new vehicles. I’ve found them to always be significantly less expensive than the dealerships we’ve visited with the same high quality of workmanship. ps.. I’ve never written a review before, wasn’t asked to write this one, but felt compelled to spread the word about Hunt & Knight.

There is not a nicer, more competent place in town. They work hard to ensure the job is done right the first time and promptly take care of any issues. They call back when they say they will and are honest with their assessments. I love that they have techs who actually know how to fix the actual problem other than just going by what the "computer" says is wrong. We don't trust anyone else with our cars.

The office staff/service writer that morning was wonderful. I had to wait while till my car was ready. She was engaged in warm conversation so it seemed like the time flew by. The work performed was spot on. Very happy with their service.
