Derby City Pizza Plainview

This place is FANTASTIC!!! We found this pizza shop by chance. The people who work here are the best!! The food is better than any other in Louisville. They have the best pizza, the best spaghetti and meat balls we have ever had after 30 years in Louisville. Never a bad meal here. Great prices, great people, you have to try this place to believe it!!

Our favorite pizza in Louisville! Great, convenient location near the expressway and lots of shops. I don't think they've ever messed up our order, we always get the champ with no olives and no mushrooms. It's always hot and fresh.

Ordered for the first time since a couple of years ago. Don’t know why I waited. The pizza is flavorful and the crust is crisp. We ordered the works and with some places it come soggy but not with Derby City. This is our new favorite take out pizza.

The employees are so nice & professional, they put my favorite game on their TV , cleanest restrooms, etc. This is my favorite place to eat and even work for! You're treated like family here! Went there for the first time last week. My wife & I had 2 pizza's, boneless wings & a salad. Food was fresh & tasted great! Tara the manager took great care of us!! Our new favorite pizza place!!

The pizza was really good. We got an XL pizza with half one way for one kid and the half another for the other kid. I got an individual crustless pizza with veggies only and it was delicious. The staff was kind and courteous. I highly recommend eating there if you get a chance.

For adine in restaurant, it always feels ultra casual and cramped to me, but i have a feeling they do mostly carry out orders. In the summer, the outdoor areas are nice to enjoy. The pizza is worth it!

Came out to Derby City tonight for pizza week and it was amazing! Kayla and her crew did an amazing job taking care of all their customers coming in. Food was so good, definitely need to keep that hot honey pepperoni pizza on the menu! It’s the perfect mix of sweet, heat and delicious!

Superstar Kayla did a fantastic job with our table of 6 tonight at Plainview Derby City! The food was fast, hot, and fabulous! It was crowded, both dine in and carry out - she handled it ALL (literally every table, phonecall, drink refill, etc.) with a million dollar smile, and a cheerful attitude- greeting everyone who stepped in the door like long lost friends! We had a great dinner and definitely will dine in again!

I had the crustless pizza and it was amazing. It is so nice to be traveling and have an option for a healthy, low carb option near my hotel. The order was ready very quickly, the staff was very polite, and I would highly recommend this dish for anyone looking to avoid carbs.

I missed going to a good pizzeria. Until we came here. The look and atmosphere reminds me of what a pizza places was before they all turned into bars with some pizza. The people working there, were very nice, and helpful. The pizzas we ordered were just a cheese and a meat lovers, very good tasting. Happy we came here

We had a wonderful dinner at the Plainview location of Derby City pizza! Kayla, our fabulous server, made everyone feel welcome and was fast on drink refills (before we asked)!

Good food and good prices. We got there close to closing time and they still accommodated us. I got the small, hand tossed champ and it was very good. It came hot and our waitress was very friendly. I would recommend the Derby City in Plainview to others. They also have a small outdoor dining area with plenty of seating. It is a quiet a friendly little place to relax and eat some good food.

This is our weekly go to. It's always a Friday night dinner date. The place is very clean, handicapp accessible. Up front parking. When you order out they have a few spots right outside the door. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. We haven't had bad things to speak of. Just give them time and patience when they are busy.

I highly recommend the broccoli cheese crust! It was crunchy and flavorful, a good alternative to regular crust. Delicious!

Not one to complain but they give you a coupon card that says buy 9 large pizzas and your 10th is free. The problem is that its only good for a free large 2 topping for free which we were not told that nor does coupon card say that on it anywhere. So in short don't expect a free large pizza! Very disappointing.

After a long road trip we decided to stop here to eat.. the pizza was so good! It was nice and crispy. Tamara had excellent customer service she was very attentive and friendly. The wait for our food wasn’t too long either. Definitely recommend to give it a try.

Got a fairly large order for a group from here. I felt a bit bad since it was only an hour until closing, but the staff were very friendly when I arrived to pick it up. Great quality pizza and cheesy breadsticks. Salad was good too. Very much recommend a stop here for your local pizza needs.

It’s really, REALLY tough to get FIVE stars out of me for a local pizza place, as I am harder on them than I am the “chains.” (Sorry guys!)
I’m sorry I don’t have any pics— the food was so good, I forgot to take some! First of all, their cheese sticks were probably some of the best I’ve ever had!!! That’s a BOLD STATEMENT TOO!! It was similar to papa Johns cheese sticks, (which I love) but WAAAAYYY BETTER!! They were cheesier, more flavorful, and not as thin— also not super thick… they were just perfect! I also LOVED the BBQ chicken pizza!! Wow 🤩!! SO much meat on there-I was just shocked how delicious everything was. My husband got pepperoni and he LOVED his too!!
It’s at least a 15-20 min drive for us, but we’ll be making it again!! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem In our amazing city 🌃!!
