You MUST try the fried green tomatoes!! I cannot recommend CASK enough. This week, I came back home to visit family. An old high school friend suggested we meet at CASK. I loved it so much, I took my dad for brunch two days later because I wanted him to see it and eat here. I mean, the man LOVES good food. It’s definitely his jam. As a true connoisseur of great food, he was delighted. The service was excellent. The food was not only delicious, it was quite reasonably priced. I am psyched that I had two meals there in one week! Lucky me! Can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town. I also know my dad will turn his friends on to you. Keep it up the deliciousness 😋

I fell in love with this place! The owner is amazing and so helpful! I’ve never tried oysters before and was super nervous but the owner and staff made me feel so comfortable and even offered to shoot my content for me! And please don’t get me started on the gumbo *chef kiss* the bartender made a phenomenal strawberry lemon drop! This place is a hidden gem 🤎

We had delicious meals, fast and friendly service, and for a very good price.

That may sound generic, but true. The bourbon braised short rip was delicious with the crispy shallots and potatoes, and the nachos were a substantial serving for the price and had fantastic flavors. Highly recommended.

Best brunch ever. That mimosa was no joke, champagne splashed with OJ and not watered down. The pancakes are the size of dinner plates yet are light and tasty. Could use a little more syrup with them but that's my only note. Staff is fantastic and the owner was so nice.

Food quality is great! They have a homemade BBQ sauce, which is one of the best BBQ sauces we’ve had. Our waitress was timely and super friendly. I loved their meatloaf, and the green beans had a lot of flavor. The owner introduced herself, and was the sweetest woman. Definitely recommend

Tried this place for the first time and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing! Some of the best Shrimp & Grits I’ve ever had outside of Louisiana where I was born & raised. My husband got the smoked meatloaf and it was so so good. If you’re looking for some amazing food with a great atmosphere this is the place to come! We will definitely be back. From the waitstaff to the owner everyone there was so polite and friendly and that’s rare to find now a days. The service was excellent and food came out pretty quickly and they were very busy. We had the best time here!

My family and I visited from Chicago and absolutely loved it here! Although they were very busy, we were seated fairly fast at the chefs table area. At first we didn’t know what to expect, but everyone was extremely nice and warming!!! The food was absolutely delicious and we ordered various things on the menu including appetizers! It was a pleasant experience for us!

I will say that I seldom leave 5 star reviews at places. The food came quick and hot, it was delicious. I will say that the prices are high but you do get a hearty portion and will leave full. The owner of this establishment is super kind and will do anything to make the customer feel at home and well taken care of.

Give this place a try!!

I googled searched for dinner in Louisville and Cask went way above any expectations I had! Loved the atmosphere and the chairs were so comfy! Our server Jolly J was amazing and on top of everything I asked for! The owner, Ashley even delivered the food personally and works as hard as every server... great teamwork among the staff and last but not least the food was awesome! Fried green tomatoes and the pork nachos.. yummy!!! *with pickled red onions made it fabulous! The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and the fried green tomato BLT was equally delicious and yet the mashed potatoes with onion gravy rivaled the sandwiches!! The gravy was phenomenal!! Absolutely a ten out of ten for casual dining

Everyone was so sweet, and I love the owner. She’s somebody I’d love to get coffee with. All of the employees were so kind and service was quick. The food was SCRUMPTIOUS!! And I’m pretty sure I completed my quest of finding the best iteration of eggs Benedict here. The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

This place is fantastic, the entire staff had a great vibe and were all very friendly.

The food was terrific, I had the smoked meatloaf with whipped potatoes and green beans.

My wife LOVED the chicken and waffle combination.

Let's not forget about their delicious fried green tomatoes, all and all a great date nite dinner.

We will most definitely be revisiting soon.

The brownie with the bourbon ice cream (which they make in house) was phenomenal and I highly recommend you give this a try.

Stopped in for dinner since we had never been here before. The wait only took about 15 minutes for a Saturday night. Everyone on the staff that we passed or walked by had a smile. The drink menu made me smile with the unique names, even though I didn't order one they sounded delicious. The food was amazing! I ordered the chicken and waffles with whipped potatoes. Best waffle I've ever had and the crispy chicken went with it nicely. The bourbon maple syrup was a wonderful touch. The fried green tomatoes as an appetizer reminded me of my grandpa's cooking which is a huge compliment to this restaurant because he was the best! For dessert we had the brownie with bourbon ice cream which they make in house, it was so creamy and just what we needed to finish such a wonderful meal.

Great attentive service although there was only the owner and the GM in the kitchen. Took a little longer than expected but that’s to be expected when short staffed. Food was hot and fresh when it did arrive. Our server made sure to pay attention to the small details. 10/10 recommend for brunch

During our weekend trip to Louisville, we had breakfast at this place. The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. Despite being short-staffed, the managers stepped in on a Saturday morning, showcasing excellent teamwork. A big thank you to the ladies for providing us with outstanding service.

The best margaritas anywhere! As if the delicious food,charming atmosphere and friendly service were not enough, the bartender is an absolute magician. I loved the house Margarita but was blown away by the mango Margarita this morning. My dining companion ordered the strawberry version and now I will be torn each time I order. Maybe I will just put them in rotation?

Trying this new place was a good experience. Food was good. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. Paige G. was our awesome server , she always checked on us. The owner was doing her rounds making sure all her guest were taking care of and our thoughts about the food. We had fried oysters one word: delicious. The fried green tomatoes were good. My husband loved the baby back ribs entree and we both enjoyed the banana crepe brûlée! We recommend CASK southern and Bar!

We had lunch here during the week and I had the best Caesar salad I have had in a long time. I had them add pan seared shrimp and it was so delicious. I know it sounds odd to give such a good review on a salad but I mean the romaine was chopped nicely, the dressing was delicious and just the right amount with parmesan cheese and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. My brother had the southern fried chicken sandwich with a side of greens. He raved about the chicken sandwich both and I tried some of the greens and they were awesome.

Nice place to stop in for a sandwich or dinner. Tried the meatloaf sandwich, which was good, but the cheesy grits really hit the spot. Mac and cheese didn’t look like anything to write home about, but friend thought it was tasty. Got to see some of my faves like shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles on the menu

We had heard great things about Cask. They were all true! Our waitress, Laila, was sweet, kind, and extremely helpful. She made our first experience with Cask wonderful.
We tried the SoDos and the Deviled Eggs as appetizers. Both were delicious! The Tres Leche sauce for the doughnuts was good enough to drink, and we loved the little bit of heat in the eggs.
Our entrées were a Cask burger and the chicken and waffles. Both were flavorful and well seasoned.
We will definitely be going back!

Popped in for Burger Week and had a phenomenal experience! It just so happened that they also planned a puppy-friendly event sponsored by Maker’s Mark supporting the Kentucky Humane Society later that evening, and we got some goodies for the pupper Zeus! Major kudos to Ashley and Mallory(?) for the excellent service even during a crazy week like LBW always is. Highly recc’d 10/10
