Douglas Gossman MD PLLC

Dr. Gossman is a very talented and experienced physician. I was referred to his office by my primary physician. My first appointment I was actually called early and told if I was in the area I could head in. I was in the parking lot and was taken right in for exam. An evaluation was done and I was scheduled for surgery. I could not be more pleased with the results. Not only is my vision much better, my appearance has improved. Dr Gossman is very thorough in the instructions prior to surgery and care afterwards. I am highly recommending Dr Gossman for Ophthalmolgy and Oculoplasty .

Dr. Gossman is AWESOME! First of all, I tried my best to get him to take my money and do surgery, but he was honest enough to tell me that I did not need it! He also said he did not think that I would be able to tell a difference at this time. I appreciated his honesty more than he could know! He even has the best staff around and an amazing sense of humor that makes you feel like you have known him forever. I cannot say enough good about this man. I will be returning in 5 years to try to give him some money again! lol By the way, my plastic surgeon recommended him! That is the best compliment a physician can have.

Dr. Gossman is amazing! As an OR Nurse myself, I had knowledge of the “go to guy” for eye surgery. This is all he does, and am so lucky to be one of his patients. Thank you Dr. Doug!

The absolute best surgeon in Louisville for eyes!!!! Always professional and honest. Friendly efficient staff that’s very knowledgeable. Clearly lays out what you need and what you don’t need, won’t do unnecessary cosmetic procedures on you to try and profit. That shows integrity in my book! Gives you thorough info packet on your procedure that thoroughly instructs you on what you can and cannot do before and walks you through what to expect pre operation, what will be done during operation, and how to care for your incisions and control pain effectively without narcotics!!! Just truly top notch, very impressed!!!!

Dr. Gossman is someone I would definately recommend. He explained the surgery and the healing process. I am very pleased with his work and the results surpassed my expectations. If I decided on any more surgery, I would definitely go back. Thank you to the staff, and thank you so very much to Dr. Gossman.

I'd never heard of a SOOF lift 20 years ago. But, it makes sense. As I am now officially on the other side of 50 my face had started to show it. I looked tired all of the time. Dr. Gossman is the absolute expert at anything to do with the eye area - so, he's the only one I would consider doing this kind of plastic surgery. Everyone is flabbergasted at the results.... and, well... so am I. Dr. Gossman and his staff were always available for questions. His private nurse, Kathy, was just a text away if I needed anything during my recovery.

Dr Gossman and his staff are amazing. How manner and expertise is beyond amazing. We are so lucky to have him in Louisville Ky.

Dr. Grossman and his staff are some of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. The care I received from them is unsurpassed!

Very rude and unprofessional. I took my mother-in-law there because of an eye tag she has had for 10 years. She does not like to go to doctors so it has taken a lot of time and persuasion to get her there. The first thing Dr. Gossman says when he sees her is, "so your ready to get rid of that nasty thing on you eye?" This upset my wife (who was with her) and my mother-in-law. Dr. Gossman was also very sarcastic with my wife throughout the visit.

I would not recommend this office.I waited for an hour until nurse came in to see me. Nurse was very unprofessional. She was chewing when she first walked in. She never introduced her self. She is very loud and does not care about patient confidentiality. I could hear her asking patient medical related questions in the next room. She keeps the door wide open. Very disorganized. I decided to leave even before doctor came in. Don’t waste your time.

Two hours after appointment time and still had not seen him all while hearing him in the hallway having lengthy conversations with employees and other patients that had nothing to do with patient care. No respect for another person’s time. Could care less once he realized I was leaving after not seeing him more than two hours after appointment time. Completely unprofessional!

If I could give Dr. Gossman a ZERO, I would. This man changed the course of my life for the last few years, extreme depression. I went to see him for lower bleph surgery. He took way too much fat out. I look completely different, but not for the better. My eyes are very hollow now and sunk in. He took out ALL the fat, which other doctors said should not be done or the eyes will look hollow. I do not recommend him for bleph surgery. He is old, mid-70s and needs to retire.
