My waitress was incredibly polite and bubbly. Service was quick and food tasted fresh and hot.
I got an espresso martini that was delicious too.

If you have time for a great Kentucky breakfast this is the place. Heavy but delicious, service was great. I got the Kentucky hot brown.

It's been years since the last time that I was able to enjoy a meal in this place, and it did not disappoint. The bartender saw me waiting and called me right away to join the bar. She was very polite and even provided recommendations. I had a Kentucky mule and the Kentucky hot brown. If you have the chance and time, I recommend you to visit them.

About as good as you can get at an airport. And I’d probably visit them at a non-airport location if they have one. Chicken and waffles were on point. And the fried chicken sandwich was great and comes with the best kettle chips!

You've probably noticed I only review great places. Life's too short to post about something that doesn't hit the mark. I digress. Ever had an amazing airport breakfast for under $5? Well it's possible at this spot. Waffles for $4.99. They are homemade and tasty.
You'd have to get a water to keep it under 5 but you just landed in Kentucky. Today I was offered a shot of Jefferson Bourbon for $6 with my barrel aged beer. I didn't need it, at all. But it's usually about $18 for a shot, so I did the when in Rome thing. Kudos to Jessica who provided great service. Coffee maker was out, just FYI. Highly recommend.

Amazing Airport Bar - with purse hooks and power strips at every other seat. Not to mention the extensive drink menu (Bourbon especially) with all the Southern Specialty Cuisines (deviled eggs). Cyndi is the delightful cheery Bartender who'll serve you Southern Hospitality with a side of Southern Charm! Delish!

The best Caesar salad I have ever eaten! This restaurant is inside the airport before you enter the gate. Well worth the stop. Parking is 1$ in surface parking area.

Surprisingly good pub food. Better than what you would expect at the airport. It is before security so it is less convenient but if you have the time it is worth it.

Agree that it's one of the best U.S. non-chain airport restaurants around. I had the veggie press sandwich with house made potato chips and of course, an old fashioned. I think you can easily pay this kind of money at other airport restaurants for lesser quality food.

Have stopped here on my departure for the last 4 or 5 trips. Great food, service, and drinks!

Food was great and it prices were reasonable. The staff was fantastic, I sat at the bar and my server Jennifer was very knowledgeable and funny.

I had a bloody mary while waiting on flight. The drink was.on point. The service was wonderful. Billie Jo was professional, yet friendly to all the patrons that came in during the 2 hours that I was there.

Why wait for your flight in the terminal when you can come to Book and Bourbon for better everything? The prices are actually really approachable on the bourbon and the food is very flavorful. I fly in and out of this airport a lot, and there are a lot more seats here than at the tasting room inside the terminal past security.

This place could be downtown Louisville easily and be a destination spot. Definitely not your typical airport restaurant! Food was amazing, like a REAL restaurant. The interior decor is very nice and bourbon horse country focused.

I got a mint julep and and Kentucky Cobb salad. Huge salad, very fresh and very good.

Can we put one of these places outside the airport??

This is much nicer than your typical Airport Restaurant. It has a cozy feel, a choice of comfy seating arrangements, and very good food. Service was quite prompt, which is a plus when you are at the airport.

Their KBT burger was excellent. Jessica, our server, was great! As with any airport establishment, everything is overpriced. That won't stop me from eating here again though. Enjoyed it!
