Cigna Medical Group

Cigna sent me across town for my 1st PCP office visit in a new town. If that wasn't grief enough, the doctor office did not have the flu shot they promised me the week before by telephone and the doctor was an hour behind schedule.!!!
So I walked out without the office visit.

A few weeks later I went to a Cigna ASSIGNED dentist office, presented my insurance card and was wrongfully told I had no dental benefits, so I paid cash. I called Cigna who said, in fact, I had free x rays, exam and cleaning in my benefits package but since I was charged $192 total and the bill did not itemize the extraction separately from xrays and exam, the bill was treated as an extraction only, which is not covered. So the dentist, Catalina Smiles, was able to deny the discount they were contracted with Cigna to provide. Very clever. So I paid full price. I'M THE INSURED but Cigna did not have my back. What a crock. The dentist bills me improperly and Cigna takes THEIR side????? They cheated me out of $30-$40 dollars, not enough to break me, but enough to cost both of them a customer going forward. I try not to do business with crooks and petty thieves.
Cigna is crooked Hillbilly Healthcare.
They owe me $40 bucks and a pox on them til they pay.
