From a photographer's perspective, this is a great place for couples sessions! Parking lot is easy to find and meet up with clients. Different areas of open fields and wooded areas, and you can bring your dog! Pretty colors in the fall and beautiful sunset views. Always enjoy seeing the deer roaming around as the sunsets.

What a nice park! Lots of close to the grass parking, I mean LOTS of parking. I came after 5pm and there were hardly anyone it seemed. Big expanses of lush grass, porta potties, pretty trees, easy to feel out in the wilderness here. Came to fly my power kite but no wind today. Took pics instead.

It is a wonderful park with many amenities. There are walking and hiking trails, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and soccer fields. This park is very well maintained, and I enjoy bringing my children and dog here.

Great in town park. This has a dog park, walking and hiking trails, archery targets, tennis courts, racquetball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, a bmx track, and a pool in the summer. They just added new archery targets fall 2023. The main running loop is small gravel. There are not great trail maps on site, but everything loops back around.

This park is amazing. So many sports activities and things to do. But there's a lot more to it than initially meets the eye, especially if you get back into the trails. Trail running is my thing. Beautiful place.

Love Tom Sawyer ! So many things to do , Softball , Baseball , Tennis , Soccer , Track , Climb trees , Explore , Hike , Ect ! I'm such a active person and this is a park I love going to because of how it lets me get all my energy out . The trails are amazing , i can't get over how beautiful the nature is . The picnic area is nice to just sit down and have a rest , or eat lunch ! Although , The Restroom stinks and is a little dirty . There's also so much space to run and play , I see kids playing so many fun little games and stuff ! The Rec soccer is also so fun , The kids are amazing players and the coaches are really good and nice ! the games are nice to watch . That's my review , its just amazing (not the bathrooms) . Hope you have fun too !

I love this park, have been here a lot, one of the best skateparks in town, well maintained trails for running and lots of soccer fields. Great park for the family or just a picnic as well.

Great State Park....family friendly. If you want to explore nature then this is the place to go. You and our children can play and have fun worry free. Excellent playground area, walking trails, picnic location with covered shelter and bathroom and if you're wanting to tie the knot then check out their wedding packages. It's also pet friendly.

Awesome park. Lots of space for camping during the BMX races.

The track is one of the best in the Midwest if not the entire country.

I love this park in Louisville. It used to be very close to the place I used to live.

This park is great for walks, running, and playing soccer. No bikes are alowed in the park.

Peaceful and nice. Note: people don't follow the park rules. Dogs run loose. I have ran into several occasions where dog owners have dogs on a leash however these dogs are not controlled. The will try to come at you in attack mode pulling the owners with them. One owner told me his dog is not used to people or other dogs. The bike rule is not followed. People still ride bikes on walking paths. The no smoking rule is also not followed. The walking paths are bumpy and need fixing.

A positively fantastic park. Miles of walking trails, a BMX park, water park, archery, various sports fields, and more. One of the best parks in Louisville. Dog friendly, plenty of restrooms, great playground, and numerous picnic areas.

A nice piece of green space with wide open parks and a playground for the kids. They have a covered spot with restrooms as well. It is well worth the visit when you want to get away for a little bit. There is also plenty of parking here.

Wonderful park. There was so much to do and we really enjoyed the walking trail. However the trails were not clearly marked which was very confusing and left us wondering around for longer than expected. There is a huge waterpark that was closed for the season, several play areas for children, and shelters to enjoy family gathering. The scenery was perfect, and very dog friendly. Restrooms were closed for season, but there was a porta potty.

Very quiet, scenic state park with lots to see on the trails.

Walked around a lot on the dirt trails of this park. Butterflies were out, birds chirping. Very calm and peaceful. Saw some deer walking about and they weren't hardly even scared.

A lovely place to spend time.

Such a beautiful yet creepy place with a lot of fun things to do and a creepy past! It is a little dirty and there is some vandalism but over all it is such a cool place. There used to be an asylum here and it's fun to look through the ruins. Picture below

Such a lovely, dog-friendly park! Lots of wildlife and a variety of plants. There's even a creek that runs through. Just beautiful! There's trails for everyone, and you easily lose track of time walking through.

Nice free archery range, with targets going out to 40 yards. Bring your own target if you want to shoot out to 60 yards. Sometimes you'll get the opportunity to stop and enjoy the wildlife!
