I have dealt with DRE Medical for the past several years, having purchased an anesthesia machine, monitor, and other equipment through them. The sales rep I have worked with during this time is always responsive when it comes to potential sales but consistently almost completely unresponsive whenever repairs or customer service is required. In my case, this turned out to be quite frequent since both the machine and monitor required repairs within the first 8 months of use. It is essentially like pulling teeth to get DRE to respond to any service needs, but whenever a potential sale is at hand, my sales rep all of a sudden responds within minutes.

Recently I was in the market for another anesthesia monitor. I received a quote from DRE Medical. After receiving a much better quote from a competing company, I decided to go with the other option. At the same time, I needed my original DRE monitor repaired and sent that in. Even after having it on hand at their facility for over three weeks, DRE has failed to even begin any repairs. After I inquired a few times for a status update on my monitor's repair, the sale rep refused to interact with me any longer. I believe she and DRE are slow to service my equipment due to their awareness that it is unlikely I will purchase new equipment from them again, having found a more competitive option elsewhere.

I understand that DRE is a business, and hence new sales are quite important to them. But consumers of course prefer to work with vendors of integrity who take care of them well even after money has changed hands.

My experience: Focused on sales of unreliable equipment with no follow through on technical support. This has repeatedly been demonstrated over the past seven years- previously with DRE and now with Avante. Poor communication from sales rep and technician with curt and dismissive responses. I don't feel supported by this company in my primary objective of providing provide safe and reliable healthcare, and I don't believe they have any sense of accountability to customer support.

I was in need of equipment now. We were turning patients away because
of our own equip that was damaged by a thunder storm. I picked Avante
because they were closest the our hospital. Asked the sales person
when it could ship. He said let me ask the guys in the back. "Next day" they said, is what he told me. It did not ship out. I told him we could come get it in Lousville Ky. Now he must stop lying and tell the truth. Sorry he says
it is coming from our sister Co in Califoria . He was lying all the time
I had found cheaper and better deals elsewhere but picked avante because delivery would be sooner as he said it was ready and closer.
It was all BS he should have just told me they did not have it. Lots of time getting PO and things going, emails sent back and fourth just wasted. I told him that we had patients waiting but he thought his sale was more important.

Ordered a surgical light that didn’t work. Had to hire an electrician to fix wire that wasn’t attached. Tried to call and left message but so far no reply
