Holiday Inn Louisville East - Hurstbourne, an IHG Hotel

Holiday Inn Louisville East was a bit nicer than I expected. It's clean and updated. My room even had a mini-fridge. There was a snack stand next to the front desk. The location is right by many restaurants. There is also a restaurant inside the property but I had other plans. I definitely recommend based on the value for the price.

When we first arrived, the area looked, shady.
However, once we came inside, it was very impressive.

This was a bit of a surprise for me. We usually stay in the same hotel, such as the Holiday Inn.
All those places have had a complementary breakfast.
I have a wife and four kids. No thanks.

I didn't stay the night at the hotel. I just had an expo there. I've also had a meeting there in the conference room. We had breakfast and it was fabulous. It was a full breakfast, not a continental, but a full breakfast and it was awesome. What I found was the hotel was very clean.

The staff were just awesome. We asked the staff if we could use some of the currently unused lobby space to play some VR games with 3 people. They said absolutely, we played from ten to midnight and had a great time.

We stopped here for one night while traveling. Holiday Inn never fails to provide a great lodging experience. I always use my IHG app for finding great rooms at the best price.

Really can't rate rooms, but dropped in here because I had an online meeting, was short on time, and didn't have a good, quiet place for it. My car wasn'tgoing to cut it, so I ducked in here half an hour beforehand and asked for help. I hold high reward status, and they set me up in the restaurant, which wasn't open yet for dinner. SUPER accommodating and SUPER helpful. This kind of service generates brand loyalty, and I will recommend this location over all nearby because of this special attention. Thank you!

I live in Louisville and only attended a 3 day swing dance convention at this venue...so I can't really answer these questions honestly. The only things I can remark about are the handicapped parking spaces available...not nearly enough...and the 45 minutes it took to get our Saturday night dinner we ordered at the little Grill near the dance event location...much too long, and also it was extremely expensive!!

Very nice hotel overall. Parking lot is spacious and easily allows for truck parking. I was there for work and had no issues with my straight truck, and there was also a tractor-trailer parked there as well.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for one night whole passing through. The hotel is nice and everyone extremely friendly. The only two things (but still a great stay) is the pool area needs to be clearly marked where it is and no exhaust fans in the bathroom.

I first want to start out by saying that the staff is first rate! I stayed there more than 2 months. When I first got there, I checked in and it was all good. THEN I walked into my room one day and I tripped over a piece of carpet at the door. I told the front desk about it, but nothing was done while I was there. I would however recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Will be back.

Had a great stay. The staff was great and the room was great. Kids enjoyed the pool and they ate free.

This is a solid 3 star hotel based on the level of amenities. However the staff makes this a 5 star establishment in my view. They went above and beyond during my stay last week to makes sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to work remotely while there. They allowed me to use a conference room and also supplied me with a keyboard and mouse when I realized I left mine. Just a great overall experience and I definitely appreciate their hospitality.

Stayed one night and everything was wonderful. We were expecting your typical hotel room with basic stuff, but we were placed in a freshly remodeled room that was very nice and absolutely worth the money. The employees were great as well! Very welcoming and down to earth. We will definitely book with them again!

Best chef around!!! Great space for conferences, meetings, a staycation or a vacation. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Tasty food. Good coffee.

The pool is normal, hotel-size small, but very inviting. A great place to swim or relax after a busy day!

Super nice place! The hotel is newly remodeled and looks nice. The aesthetic is modern with a touch of horse. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. Most importantly - the rooms have powerful enough AC that you can make the room super cold, something that I've found to be a rarity in hotels.

Front desk staff was professional and efficient, room was immaculate, bed was comfortable, and shower had wonderful water pressure. No complaints here.

Clean - renovations AMAZING. Nice place for business meetings - plenty of amenities to get things done. The restaurant looks great, but also plenty of restaurants surround it. No reason for a growling stomach. It has a wealth of diverse cuisine. Qualified for professional and personal gatherings. MAKE YOUR RESERVATION TODAY.

Clean room comfy beds. Dated has a crumbling hotel next door. Hot tub was turned into a planter. Very strange choice.

I am super impressed with this lovely place! The staff is hands-down THE best, room was 100% comfortable and quiet, and these awesome folks welcomed me and my Siberian Husky with open arms and a truly reasonable rate! A dog-friendly hotel with great staff and great rooms? I'm in love!
