My parking concerns have been addressed and in a friendly, compassionate way. I thank the administration for listening from a visitor's perspective. My husband has received excellent care all around for his heart bypass surgery and parking problems aside I would highly recommend Norton Audubon Hospital to anyone in need of good medical care. Thus, I give the hospital a 5 star rating with confidence.

I am from out of town and experienced a dislocated shoulder. Every person that I came in contact with from the employee at the front desk, the technicians, nurses, and the doctor who treated me showed me so much patience and care during my visit. They were very gentle and accommodating and I just wanted to say thank you for such a great experience during a painful moment for me. The professionalism and empathy that was shown means a lot.

My daughter had emergency appendicitis surgery yesterday and they were absolutely amazing! They treated her with such care and I am so glad we came there. I am so pleased with our surgeon too. He was so caring and informative. 10 out of 10!

I was there at the end of October and beginning of November. I had to have open heart surgery to remove a blood clot in my heart. The doctors and the nurses were amazing. They took care of me and my family. They were great. They saved my life.

This lady sarah in respiratory was absolutely amazing my mom was there for a breathing test and my she was so amazing with my 3 year old daughter ❤ I feel like you don't see people in the medical field that actually enjoy their jobs as much anymore but her personality and ability to do her job and understand that sometimes kids will be there made me so happy 😊

They saved my life. Prompt attention, compassionate care, rapid diagnosis. The ER, CT surgery team, neurology, ICU are all world class at what they do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Shout out to the surgery staff along with the 4 west staff! They have gone above and beyond for us. They provided hourly updates on the surgery day along with constant care on the floor. One of the managers of the nursing staff on 4 even introduced herself asking if the staff has been meeting all our needs to the nurse's aide who offered to sit with my mom while I went to grab lunch. Highly recommend. Thank you

The reviews of the unbelievably long waits, apathy, and uncoordinated 'care' have also happened to us multiple times and had put us off ever returning there again.

However, I ended up by ambulance in their ER with a cardiac issue this past week. At first, the doctor was being snarky and making assumptions. I point blank asked her if I was just marked for extermination or what, because maybe I should end it all and save us both a lot of time. At that point she stopped being rude and everything changed very swiftly.

I was admitted and then transferred to the 5th floor, where I also received excellent care; shout out to Katie and Antoinette and everyone else on the unit, the best nurses ever, APRN Melanie and Dr. Daniel Rothschild, the awesome cardiologist team with such patience, and Dr. Davis who finally seemed to believe I was struggling to breathe and helped put everything together in the end. I have a new group of doctors, a plan and I'm finally able to get out of the U of L 'system.' It took me over two years to get anyone to understand what was happening. Thank you, looking forward to FINALLY getting well at Norton Audubon. I hope my care continues to receive 5 stars - I really need quality care. We all do.

I will say, as a chef and a diabetic/cardiac patient, however, that their nutrition services are a disaster. There is not proper regard for sugars, carbs, and sodium-laden items being included on trays that have no business having them. If I had my way, I'd change the world of hospital food to be be fresh and of superior quality, as well as make sense for patients' nutritional needs and restrictions, but that's me.

If anyone wants a truly BAD Hospital French Toast Recipe, I'm pretty sure I can nail the one from there - especially if you have equipment like an Asphalt Steamroller and a too hot oven, hit me up. LOL

My husband spent 5 days in the ICU here and we were so thankful for the sweet, thoughtful, and encouraging care he received from every single nurse. They made a huge difference for us in a very scary time. I have a whole new appreciation for these wonderful heros. God bless you and the service you give every day!

This is my second time visiting this Hospital for imaging services related to my thyroid. I was completely floored by the professionalism and caring the staff from the 1st person I contacted at the Main Registration to Ultra Sound Imaging staff. My appointment was for 11:00, I was seen at 10:55 and finished at 11:03. The results were read and posted by 11:41 on Norton My Charts for my review, I have be a Patient of the VA for 8 years and never have I had results posted so quickly. My personal experience with Norton Hospital has been nothing but impressive.

I’ve been in and out of this hospital four times since Christmas.
The last time was from 2/28/23 - 3/9/23.
I was very well cared for. I had one of the best nurses possible. Her name is Trina Postell. She took very good care of me as if I was one of her family members.
Thank you Trina from the bottom of my heart. ❤

I was in the hospital four days ago and I had to they thought I had a stroke well, then two days after that my father-in-law went in the hospital and I have to say Flynn. The nurse that helped us was absolutely the best nurse I’ve ever seen and someone should give him a special recommendation.

I brought my grandmother to the ER and am so grateful for the care she received. Her Nurse (Brittany W.) was so attentive and very kind. The ER Dr. (I wish I could remember her name, I'm very tired and scatterbrained) was also very kind, attentive and informative. We overheard some people complaining about wait times - they were extremely busy but I can assure you I saw every staff member actively working as quickly as possible; some things are beyond their control and this includes wait times when they have an overwhelming patient load being brought in by ambulances and walking in. Despite how busy they were, my grandmother still received thoughtful and thorough care, and I'm so appreciative as she is very ill. It really helped ease my worry and stress seeing her being well cared for.

I absolutely Love this hospital! They have been so Awesome with my father, who became ill 3 years ago. He went to get rehabilitated after having heart valve replacement, at a nursing home called park terrace. Long story Short, the nursing home ignored his cries for help, and he ended up with sepsis, where his health declined tremendously soon after that. Anyway my dad has been in and out of Audubon hospital ever since for the passed 3 years, and each and every time, they are amazing with him. They are clearly compassionate with all of their patients, and want absolutely nothing but the best of care they can give you. This hospital Will always be my recommendation to anyone who might have a loved one needing to go to a hospital, for what ever reason.

I was calling from another state to get information about a loved one. The nurses team were fundamental for me to get updates about the situation happening in that moment. I deeply appreciate all the help and attention I received. They were soo compassionate with me. God bless them all, even the few bad apples I had to talk to.

Went here for a sliced up finger… yard work accident. Everyone was very responsive and professional. Yes, the wait time is long right now. Let’s consider staff shortage. I had the best care I could’ve asked for, and I have no complaints. Everywhere I went was clean, the security was great, and the staff was always busy taking care of others. Thank you Norton Audubon. You made my first trip to get stitches the best it could’ve been.

My husband was admitted due to a heart attack ... transported by ambulance from another hospital , he went straight to the I.C.U where the staff immediately attended to stabilizing the patient , with in 15 minutes they had came and took all family members to his room and ensured us he was stable . the staff ratio was 1 nurse for 2 patients and all of his nurses responded immediately to ever buzzer - beep within seconds . they ensured and took extra measures to ensure he was comfortable ... repositioning him per request ...Only had one issue i observed that needed intervention ..on several occasions when a Doctor was in the room consulting with family .. or a nurse was bathing the patient, House-keeping (without knocking ) would enter the room - empty the trash - sweep and mop around our feet at times blocking the line of vision to the person we were speaking with ...this was very distracting and in my opinion rude . And just a guess... but a big Hippa violation .Other than housekeeping all other department were excellent
