Charr'd Bourbon Kitchen & Lounge

This is an unassuming place as it’s tucked inside a Marriott hotel, but well worth the stop. They have a HUGE list of bourbons and some of their own versions from major distilleries like Knob Creek. Great service here as well. The bartenders are knowledgeable and can help Keith recommendations. I only had apps. The wings were great. The cheese board was atypical and improbably wouldn’t order again.

The food is AMAZING!!!!! BEST Drinks. Mind u I ate off the chicken and waffles for 2 days and realized I forgot to take a picture. In fact they are so good I went back for more drinks the next day and tried the cod. I'm mad that I forgot to take pictures...it is HUGE. You get a couple of pieces. The service is outstanding!!! The people are friendly and genuine. What I really liked was the supervisor came to talk to our table and he shared that the people they have hired are a diverse group of people that come in different ages and ethnicities. The facility is beautiful and it is Derby ready so anyone who tell anyone who is wanting to come to Louisville for Derby it's all set.

Great food, loved the atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. The wait time did go up significantly as the amount of dining guests went up but even then the staff did a great job making sure their guests had what they needed as quickly as they could. It was refreshing to dine in while staying there, I rarely eat in at hotel restaurants as most times I don't have even a 3 or 4 star review to give.
I had the smoked wings, mussels, and yard bird sandwich. I would definitely recommend the wings and yard bird sandwich.

The smoked pork chop was as good as it gets! It paired extremely well with the braised kale and caramelized root vegetables, and of course you have to do the Ole Fashioned.

Excellent bourbon selection. Prices are off the charts. The house Old Fashioned is good. Food is always delish.

I am visiting from Fort Lauderdale Florida and stopped in. I had the mac and cheese with pulled pork and the ribs and they were delicious! Great place to watch the basketball game too! Shelby was our bartender and she was great! Highly recommend will be back.

Excellent service and the Swordfish was wonderful. The roasted pecans went perfectly with the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Also with a selection of over 200 bourbons I'm sure that you will find something different. The beer is so cold you get this really cool ice to form also..

I did a take out order for a pulled pork sandwich & it was divine! The bbq sauce was a perfect meld of a touch of spice and sweet. The side of Texas fries was hot & crispy with a nice seasoning. They also included a deep fried pickle (which was consumed first)!

Service at the bar was spot-on; very friendly and attentive.

It was excellent! The most beautiful bowl of fruit I have ever been served! The omelet was exactly the way an omelet should be. I am looking forward to dinner here.

The yard bird sandwich was huge and delicious, fries exceptional. Old fashions are spot on. All that and above board service makes this place a winner.

Pulled Pork tots are great. The service was excellent. They have their own Maker's Private Selection.
Do not pass on this restaurant, it's great.

We had our company Christmas gathering here and everything went very smooth. They had us in our own room as to not bother the other patrons. The staff was super friendly and extremely accomadating as they let us bring in our own homemade desserts (we had a contest for best dessert) and they even put them in the refrigerator until we were done eating.
I had the Hot Brown and it was really good! I highly recommend Charr'd!

Went here for dinner and ordered and appetizer.....deviled eggs. Best if ever had. So good we ordered another order for dinner. Everything else was great and the waiter was attentive. Like everything else, service just depends on who you get. Don't judge a restaurant based on one server people!

Great place, great service and I visit it regularly for different networking events. I would highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ambiance is nice and comfortable. Bourbon selection is large. Meeting rooms available for many different size groups. Wonderful people to work with for any special event.

Got into town late, ordered before going to room as kitchen was closing soon (felt bad but was starving). Bartender was nice, made sure we had enough of everything. Food was really good.

Listen up! This is a bourbon restaurant in the home of bourbon. They specialize in bourbon....and they have a world class selection. Please don’t ask for a Miller Light. If you don’t know what you want, they have an outstanding wait staff who will get you correctly oriented on the bourbon trail. The food is equally terrific.
