Christian Book Nook

Love this little Christian Bookstore! My wife and I have been twice. We live 2 hours away and it is worth the drive! Great deals and a wide selection of books for the size of the store. The owner is friendly and helpful. It is a must, if you are in Louisville.

Came in on an afternoon and walked out with a ton of books. I love the fact that it's affordable, AND has the kind of books I search for as a theology grad student. A lot of Christian bookstores have mostly fluff pieces published in the last few years, and while they have their share of contemporary literature, I found it refreshing that Spurgeon and Bunyan weren't the only old books I saw there. Staff is super friendly, too. If you're looking to dive deep into the treasures of the Christian faith and our shared experience of Jesus Christ, this bookstore will go a long way!

We LOVE this book store! The owner is extremely knowledgeable of Christian books and is very willing to help look for what you need. They have a great selection of new and used books. The prices are unbeatable. They even have a great children’s section of books. Definitely worth the drive anywhere in Louisville or surrounding areas. Make sure to check the hours and grab a donut or coffee at the stores across the street. John will see about you for sure!

We love getting school books from here for Seminary as well as books for our toddler!

This is the best bookstore. You can find brand new or used books for school or personal studies. And the Owner Mr.John is simply phenomenal.

This is such wonderful bookstore! Great selection spanning from theology, Christian living, missions, ministry, history, languages, and more. They have multiples of several books and the authors are trustworthy. Low prices than typical retail price on everything!

I love the Christian book nook and I have bought many books there and had the manager to order some books that he didn't have in stock so the other day when I went I took him books that I had read years ago reread and took them to his store because he sells new books he also cells used books. I tried to be as careful as I can when I'm reading a book so that if someone gets that book and takes it home with him then it'll be nice and not dog years and all that so they have lots of nice second hand books and also new books and can order you something that would delivered in a few days and he would always either text or call you and let you know that it has come in. Great service and very nice manager who owns the store and is a Christian man and knows just about anything you want to ask him about books. I go there often and will be going back soon and taking more books up there to him because now that I'm 87 I need to get rid of books because I have outlived most of my close friends and they also gave away their books before they passed away and it seems that nobody wants to read anymore they want to just sit and let somebody else do all the reading in the pretending and and bringing games and to be played on a computer into their living room and they want to watch ball games and and you hardly ever see anybody outside you know playing croquet or throwing horseshoes or things that I did when I was young. But I still love to read but some of his hype is so small but I'm thankful for the newer books that they have larger prints so I can read them well and that's my take on the Christian book note

Great store for seminary students and anyone else looking for some good Christian reading. I have found them 9/10 times to be priced lower than Amazon. Went to purchase a book and there wasn't a discounted used copy on the shelves. When I got to the register the owner said he had just gotten a used copy of the book I was buying and sold it right there. He willingly saved me 13 dollars right there. I love everything about the store and business. Will be buying every book I need from these guys regardless of the cost elsewhere. Not only will they save you money in the long run but it is going to a stand up owner. Highly recommend this place.

A true find in the city. Great selection on solid Christian books that are not just part of the 'top of the charts' fluffy faith. The books at Book Nook are quality in their appearance and robust in their content. The other great thing? John knows where any book is that I have ever asked him about. Forget the big stores or even Amazon.

The best place to buy any christian books. The prices are much less than what you could find anywhere on line or in a store, and the owner seems like a super nice guy and he is extremely helpful. I've bought so many books here: bibles, studies, a huge commentary my husband had been looking online for... for fraction of the price. Really cool little place.

They have a huge selection of books at very affordable prices along with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. The store is also right next to a coffee shop and a bakery! I highly recommend Christian Book Nook!
