Everytime I've taken my dog and partner here we've had an excellent/ relaxed time.
The humans have been very polite and kind and the pups we've met have been great too.

I have run the hill of George Rogers for exercise throughout my life. I have played football there. I have played basketball there. I have played baseball there. I walk there, I practice disc golf there. I take my kids there to play. The playground, the sprinklers, the whole park is great. Hard to find a city with such great parks right in the middle like central Louisville.

Beautiful park to walk in.
Decent trail that runs around the park and easy to navigate. You get some time by a creek, an ancient beauty of a tree and some nice woods inside the city

Great huge park , had my son bday party here and a couple family members followed suit . It’s tucked away but it’s awesome and has everything you could want in a park . Hills, trees, open land to run around. Park, baseball/kickball field and basketball court . Plenty of grills and tables with enough space for multiple families to gather without interfering with each other

I had my parents 69th wedding anniversary at the lodge and loved every minute of it. The building was clean and roomy and the park grounds were perfect. The Parks Department really made this a great day!

We love this park I just wish the bathrooms were open. The kids really enjoy it and I do too when I go walking early in the morning.

Decently spacious for a park within the city. The grounds are well kept. They have a play ground with slides for bigger kids as well as the little ones. There's a baseball diamond, basketball court, tennis courts, and an open field for soccer, Frisbee etc.
If you find the big fenced in Cypress tree, legend has it that George Rogers took out his whip and whipped the ground, and a large cypress tree grew from the spot.

Great little neighborhood park with a t-ball diamond, basketball courts and tennis courts. There's also a soccer field in less than optimal shape; recently one of the goals was removed. 1/4 mile track around the edge. Also has swings and picnic tables around the rentable enclosed building. And some trails around large fields and creeks east of the main park amenities.

There's a historic cemetery there, as well, where dogs should *not* be penned.

Very near St Xavier high school campus.

A very lovely park. It's always so clean & I love the landscape itself. Small hills, some open areas without trees for direct sunlight or there are also more shaded areas as well. A great place, pretty much any time of year, for just about any activity under the sun. Also has a guest center at the top of the hill where bathrooms are located I'm told. I did see the building, however, I didn't check out the facility myself.

I love George Rogers! The playground never seems to be crowded, it's in a super convenient location, and the wooded area is perfect for dogs or cross-country practice. It's definitely one if the highlights of Germantown.

This is one of my favorite places and the rental building is very nice for small intimate gatherings. I was there to celebrate a friends wedding, there was only about 30 of us there. The fireplace at one end is beautiful, the mantel on the opposite end was decorated. There's a small kitchen, with refrigerator, sink, and enough counter space to arrange edibles.im already considering a fall gathering.

Best quietest area for private, family, church, or special functions. Clubhouse with space for average sitting & serving. Bathrooms inside a well.

Lovely little gem hiding in the Audubon neighborhood. Great for walking your dog, there is a playground and some tennis courts. I love walking here.
