Half Price Books

I hate that I can never find completed sets, but then I always find the first and second books to new series that I end up liking. Can't really be mad about inventory. The staff is pretty nice too and of course you can't be mad at the prices lol

Bring some books to cash in or look for your favorite book or magazine or comic book or DVD or Blu-ray or toys, you get the idea. I must say though I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but maybe it doesn't exist. I did however find the perfect gift for my daughter. And it was only $5. It was a crochet kit with yarn included.

This is an amazing store with amazing people running it. Every employee is professional, personal, helpful, and a complete pleasure to talk with. The Hurtbourne location in Jeffersontown Kentucky does not have a bad employee. I highly recommend stopping in if you are an avid reader, book collector, or just trying to find something quiet to do on a could winter night. I truly love going in there and I try to visit as often as I can.
I have jokingly told the employees "that I hate this store because it takes all of my money".
My wife calls it "My Happy Place".
The selection is really good and if they don't have it they can probably find it for.
I highly recommend stopping in as often as you can.

Nice little store with great deals. Been shopping here for years... and the staff is always super nice and helpful. Trade in value on books is very very loww but other than that i like this store. Good people here

Used books and media of all types. It might not always be in the best condition, but plenty of stuff is dirt cheap. You'll come in for one thing and leave with several more because you're amazed at how cheaply you found it for. This is the right place to wonder about that book or movie you've always been curious about because it will probably be there for a very reasonable price. The staff, in particular, is super friendly, helpful, and laid back.
It's also a great place to sell your stuff, too!

Didn't have what I'm looking for. But still great customer service. And had other great selections of books, games, and other entertainment media.

what a lovely time i’ve just had! the cashier was the sweetest man ever, he noticed i bought books in german and spoke to me in german for the rest of my transaction : ) he also complimented my outfit! what an angel, i felt so terrible about being so shy! i wish i had learned his name.

It's always fun to walk around a look, there are some great finds on the clearance shelves, and other forgotten treasures in the novelty section.

Half price books is one of my favorite places to just stop in and see what they have in their hobby section, if im looking for some used bluray/dvds, if im looking for a book that i read from my childhood, or a book recommendation from a friend. And if they happen to not have it available at that location, they will order it from another.

This is my favorite bookstore. They have plenty of a selection and a nice selection of music and video games as well.

Super cool spot with plenty of discounted books that you actually would want to read. Without fail, we found plenty of novels, comics, and manga of series that we were currently reading for less than you would usually see. Book are not half off as advertised, but that seems pretty normal nowadays and I lean more towards a 5 star review than a 4 for a relatively minor detail.

I love just wandering through the aisles of this place. They usually have a good sci-fi collection and even a few D&D books (even some of the rule books). I'm in here often. One word of warning, during evening rush hour the traffic along this stretch of Hurstbourne is brutal.

Well organized and chock full of great deals! This is a must for the bookworm in your life. They also have games, toys, vinyl and CDs and so much more!

Books are good. They're reasonably priced, a large selection to choose from. I got a bunch of kid's books for my godchildren.
