Just want to say thank you to all the nurses in the trauma ICU sections. They were very kind to us, especially to my wife Sonia. Very heartwarming, loving. Always checking up on us. God bless you to the whole nursing team, American team and hang in there. I know health care is draining and I know you're tired and underpaid but you're doing a good thing and know that God loves you for it

My stay was due to a traumatic medical emergency. Let me the front desk in er needs some retraining on compassion or something very rude!!! Er was rushed but due to life-threatening that is understood but once I got to ICU nothing but the best compassionate treatment everyday and I got to say goodbye to most of them. We dont respect nurses, techs and staff nearly as much as we should!

The level care and compassion in this facility is FAR beyond Exceptional! ICU Nurses Stephanie and Alexis are Far beyond professional! All the doctors and nurses are very caring and compassionate. Thank you for saving my SON! We had entire teams in the room discussing care and plans. From Surgeons to Radiology to Stroke to PT! Never had this level of care in any other hospital or state for that matter! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Today I went to Nebraska medical center and the eye clinic. The people that are very friendly and nice it's clean has three levels. The doctor I seen seem very knowledgeable and was very concerned with my eye condition it was funny when we first pulled up and parked in the first row there was a broom next to the handicap sign made me laugh remind me of handicap which parking. Someone probably had clean snow off their car with the broom and left it there.

My brother was here for some emergency care. And they were amazing. It was for liver failure and a lot of other things. He had like a 30 percent chance of living. But he pulled through. They were awesome. My grandma was just there and had a stroke. They were really compassionate and caring. Always kept us informed and helped with everything. And didn't pressure us for anything. And respected our wishes.
They did good.

This was my first visit to this facility. I was escorting my mother who was in a wheelchair which complicates the process slightly. The person screening at the door was very helpful yet careful to ask and get clear verbal answers to the screening questions. We felt safe and well cared for as we went to out appointment. I am grateful for the care and concern of all we met there.

Well it's never a happy wonderful 5 star time when you're admitted to the hospital, except maybe when you've just had a child; however there is always an occasion for 5 star care, and that's just what I received at Nebraska Medicine.
I truly appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the Emergency Room staff. They were very busy, however I was never kept waiting for the attention of a Dr. or a nurse. I did not do well for a couple hours, but there was staff with me the whole time.
Fortunately for me I was able to recover quickly and with some like style changes I am marching into good health and well being!!

Writing a review for UNMC is an emotional task for me because they have been there for my mom and family through life, sickness, recovery, health, and even death. In all they've been there for they did right, without judgement or bias, and with care, hope, and support. I live in Kansas, but I know this hospital and all the towers better than some streets near my home. I've interacted with many specialty doctors, nurses, techs, housekeeping staff, ER, security team members, and so many others. We've experienced teams in Kidney Transplant, Wound Care, Cardiovascular, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Derm, Cancer Center, and the Comfort Care Team. I can tell you that these teams are here because they love what they do. If you're considering UNMC as a new place to care for your needs I would do so without hesitation. When my mom moved they were so helpful in her transition to Kansas. Without them we'd be lost. We will miss each of her teams, their knowledge, and their care. It was so hard to leave.

The hospital staff was very friendly and interested in making me comfortable. They got me examined and feeling better in a reasonable amount of time. The facilities were very clean and organized. My only complaint is about how cold it was inside the building.

Wouldn't dream of going to any other health care facility. My cancer team is Amazing, Specialty Care staff is phenomenal, and shout outs to several other departments that I have had the privilege to get to know through out the hospital. Excellent!!

I get botox shots for my my severe headaches. All of the medical staff including the doctors are friendly, are very concerned about you has a person and treat you like that. I believe that if you have to go to a hospital for anything I really recommend UNMC.

Amazing doctors! Great experience! We were out of towners needing a newborn check up and they took us right in after being denied at other facilities.

These people saved my life. They diagnosed a rare condition that two other hospitals couldn't. From aids, to surgeons, I've never been treated so well by medical staff. They were professional yet cheerful. The men treated me with dignity. Modestly. They wouldn't let me die when I begged them to. They would to have had to, but they persuaded me to let them continue the healing process. My home away from home. I love them all!

I have all my specialist Dr.'s as well as my primary under 1 roof! Ok I admit the clinics are scattered a lil but only because of just how many there truly are! I love being able to pull my entire health history and current reports up at anytime online to!! I would not be here today if not for all the wonderful Dr.s here!

This place is amazing. After going into heart failure during the 30 week point in my pregnancy, I had to have a crash C-section. They took my son and took excellent care of him, whole also making sure I was going to be okay. I had open heart surgery here and I couldn't have been more happy. I'm only 21, so I was terrified of being alone, and being surrounded by needles and tubes and wires constantly. The nursing team is absolutely amazing, along with the trauma team and surgical team. Dr. Cramer is my cardiologist and he's not afraid to say what's what. His nurse Lindsey is a sweetheart and is always super helpful, even when in a time crunch. Dr. Duncan was my cardiac surgeon and he's really nice and checked up on me multiple times after the surgery, as did Dr. Cramer. The nurse Lyon, who was in the cardiac unit is hands down the best nurse I had ever had there. He was always on top of every question I had. He came to see me after both surgeries as well.
This staff made my stay so much better, and after blowing IV after IV, they understood my severe fear of needles. The crying, the pain, and the hyperventilating. They ALWAYS comforted me when I needed a new line or IV placed. These people went above and beyond, and save my life, and my son's. I cannot thank these people enough.
